what's your vice?

I'd imagine most of us are fairly healthy people when it comes to diet and lifestyle and usually searching for ways to be healthier....

That being said, what's your vice, food-related or not? What's the one thing you could quit eating/doing so much?

Mine's Tropical Source chocolate chips straight out of the bag. I just have to stop buying them because every time I do they never make it into a baked good, only into my mouth..

I'm super addicted to tea, but it's healthy so i don't mind!  ;D
my worst vice is my soda addiction and peanutbutter, too. i love a teaspoon of peanut butter with a little granola on top (sooo goood  :D)
but i haven't done that in a looong time  :)

Tea is definitely better than somethings but be careful tea blocks the absorption of iron into the body and a cup of tea has roughly the same amount of caffeine as coffee. This combined with your soda habit and you might also have trouble absorbing enough calcium. Try an herbal blend instead of black, green or white teas.

thanks for the tip, i already know about the iron thing. i really like mint tea, which is supposed to be healthy, but in the morning i do drink black tea. (i need a kick to get started)  ;)

OMG!!! Don't tell me that LOL. I'm going to go out an get them now LOL.  :o

I guess that's the one good thing about living in middledenowhere.  I'd have to drive an hour and a half to get to some toffutti.  But next time, I'm in San Antonio, I'm going to get me some.  I love green onion dip so much.

I'm not sure if I'm doing you a favor or not...  I've been enjoying onion dip made with this sour cream recipe: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=6985
I prefer my onion dip with hard pretzels, but the carrier is really secondary, isn't it?   ;)

the CARRIER is TOTALLY secondary!!! LOL! I won't even tell you the things I've slurped up onion dip with. Thanks for the recipe link. I think I'll try it!

food : pickled things, pickle onion/garlic/beets, etc... incredibly hot sauce that makes other people cry, and all the fried mexican type food

definately not food : natural paper cigarettes (only have a few a week though, anymore), really cheap beer, and vodka...

Know what you get when you goto an after show party and drink beer, red wine, white wine, more beer, martinis (that were red...that can't be a real martini or good for you in any way), and shots of vodka?.......to stay in bed all day wishing you did not! (Glad I have the day/night off today)OUCH! :P

I hate to bust the mood, but I heard that some wine isn't vegan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegan_wine

That is true but quite a few are. Yellow tail is one that is easily avaiable and inexpensive. If you have a favorite make your best bet is to contactact the winemaker to be sure.

Peanut butter, oatmeal, and exercise!!  Peanut butter- gotta be natural (preferably Krema).  Oatmeal--plain.  Exercise-- lots especially running! ;D
