Why Being a Veg*n SUCKS!

Ok Ladies and Gents, this topic spawns off of BreyettEyes post on "Reasons why not to be a Veg*n". This is of course a satirical approach as to why its so effen hard to be yourself with people who just don't get it. Ok I'll start.
Reason #1. Because when you kindly tell people you don't want to taste the cheese they brought into the office, they insist that you do, and when you say no thank you again and finally tell them you don't want any because you in fact do not eat cheese, they stare at you and call you crazy.
My favorite: "No wonder you're so skinny - you don't eat anything" . . . no, dumba$$, I've always been thin, it's called genetics!!

No crap! I get this all the time from people who didn't know me before I became vegan (in fact, I actually gained a couple pounds after becoming vegan because I started eating better and my body needed the extra pounds). Although, it probably wouldn't hurt people to cut out the crappy animal products that are adding to their waist line and arterial walls by the minute ::)

#70( i think) when you announce to your family that your vegetarian they start asking all these questions and start picking at you and tell you its all in yoru head..and then you get a moment to say a few words and all that comes out is " its times like these i wish i was gay"

true...but theyll get over that after a while..as when youre veg*n they just cant seem to get over the fact that youve given upi tradition for something so "silly" as compassion
but yeah it does differ with families....cuz mine are accepting of my aunt being gay but they cant accept my veg*nism
