Vegan Poo

I know this has been discussed before, but I just have to say how amazing taking a vegan crap is. I swear I can sit, poop, wipe, and wash in under 60 seconds. and yes, my hands are clean!!!

Even when pregnant (and your are SUPPOSED to be constipated) I was still going 2-3 times per day with no problem.
After surgery where most people are blocked up for a week, I went on day 2!

One thing I miss is the quality readin' time in the jon. Now I don't even bother picking up a book or mag because I know there's no time!!! :D :D :D

both mine and dh's poop smells MUCH less....I can't remember the last time the house was wafting with shit smell from a messy poo.  ok, I'll say it...my shit don't stink! :-D ::)

being vegan just has so many benefits.  ::)

How did I miss this thread?? I just read L2A's first post about how her poop don't stink. It's true! My poops hardly ever stink. I was just talking about this with my non-vegetarian coworker who eats nothing but garbage all day long. She is always talking about how she is afraid to use the toilet at work because she doesn't want to stink it up. She doesn't want people to go in after her and make fun of her for pooping. It is really juvenile. She actually drives home everyday on her break so that she can poop in her own toilet! I was talking to her about it yesterday and I was like, "Does it really stink that bad every time?" And she was like, "Yeah, yours doesn't?" and I told her, "No. It usually doesn't stink much at all," and she looked very surprised and said, "REALLLLLLY?!" Everyone should just be vegan, I think.

HAHA!  Tonight I walked past the bathroom and it was the stinkiest smell I have smelt in a while emitting from the bathroom.  I asked if anyone sprayed anything.  My roommate said that he had actually just finished using the bathroom and I shouldn't "go in there for a while".

It's true though I can't remember the last time I smelt up the whole bathroom.  It makes sense because a vegan diet is lower in fat and fat floats in water.  When it sinks to the bottom the smell gets trapped in the water, but in a high fat diet (aka the S-A-D)  the poop floats to the surface and the stink goes everywhere.  That's just my 2 cents of unscientific explanations for non stinky vegan poop.

And yes, everyone should just be a vegan to avoid smelly poops.

Wow a whole thread devoted to poo  :>
Just be thankful to the vegan or even vegetarian diets.
At least I know as vegan I would not even know what is to be constipated.
Eat way to much ruffage for that problem.
Still have a fear of using a public bathroom but that is a different issue.

ok, i have a poo issue......when i first went vegan, it was sooo awesome, because i pooed in literally 5 seconds, and i LOVED it. but recently it hasn't been like that and i am confused. i'm eating the same things that i was eating before....but the poop is totally different!

any suggestions on how to get things "moving" again?  ::)

sometimes when I am on the road and stressed I will drink some Aloe in the evening.
Seems to work out pretty good.
With Aloe if you never drank it before mix it with some juice.
I drink about 4-6 ounces straight.

oh man! aloe juice is DELISH! maybe there are nasty kinds out there, but all the ones I've tried (uh, only 2 but still) were really good.

I keep it chilled in the fridge. Tastes fine to me straight.  It is kind of like drinking dish soap or at least that what it reminded me of when I drank it last time.
Aloe is ok in my book.

Am I the only one who hates aloe juice? I tried drinking it about two years ago and it tasted terrible. I'd like to try again because I understand it is great for your skin. Can anyone recommend a brand to me? I've tried two, one in a white bottle and one in a brown bottle (descriptive, eh?) and they were both bad, although the brown bottle was considerably worse.

It's not the tartness either, it tastes different somehow, even when chilled. I love sour foods like lemons, grapefruits, mango pickle, etc. Aloe juice just tastes odd to me.

After a quick google image search I found that Lily of the Desert was the horrid brown bottle juice I had. In a word, that I'm inventing, horriblificating.

Where can I find Nature's Way? Can aloe juice be overpowered by any flavor, say, in a fruit smoothie?

Orange Juice covers the flavor of aloe very good.
