The official tea review thread (to be updated).

Add brands, flavors, loose, bagged, etc. There are three trillion teas, and I've only recently started drinking tea!

Bigelow
Black teas
Chinese oolong

Cinnamon stick
I had this a few years ago, but I liked it. Plain, smooth cinnamony and slightly spicy. (sog)
I'm finding that I can really count on the Bigelow teas. I know they aren't fancy or anything, but I always like the flavor. The cinnamon is not too strong, not artificial tasting, but still flavorful. I don't like artificial cinnamon anything, but this is good. (AC)
Constant comment
If anyone hasn't had this, you NEED to try it. I grew up on this, I love it so much. I always have it in the house. (sarah)
I really didn't think I would like this because I'm not a huge fan of spiceish or orange teas, but this is mellow. It's mellow, but still flavorful. I like it! I would get this again. (AC)
One of my few positive, and certainly earliest, childhood memories. Even their decaf version is pretty darn good, and I usually hate decaf tea. I don't know what goes into the de-caffeinating process but it usually seems to take most of the flavour with it. (yabbit)
Constant comment decaf
Pretty darn good, and I usually hate decaf tea. I don't know what goes into the de-caffeinating process but it usually seems to take most of the flavour with it. (yabbit)
Earl Grey
This EG is not nearly as good as Stash, which is usually less flavorful. This mainly just tastes like a black tea. Not bad, but not special. (AC)
Earl Grey decaf

English breakfast
This is a good basic tea. Exactly what I want in the morning, with some almond milk. (AC)
English teatime
This is similar to the English breakfast, maybe just slightly stronger/more bitter. (AC)
English teatime decaf

French vanilla
Yum. This has a nice vanilla flavor, and a good balance. I like it quite a bit. (AC)
French vanilla decaf
At first I thought I liked this the same/better than the regular, but it has a weird aftertaste. It's not very pleasant. It might have been a freak thing, but I wouldn't try this again. (AC)
Lemon lift
P likes this. I think it's a bit spicier than lemon, but a pretty nice blend. (AC)
Plantation mint

Pomegranate black tea

Pumpkin spice tea
This tea is delicious!  I usually drink it with soymilk and sugar, but today I had it with Silk pumpkin spice soymilk and it was extra good!  I steep it extra concentrated - 5 minutes with 2 bags in about 10 oz water, then add an ounce or so of soymilk once it's done steeping.  This is also good for a second steep if you steep it a little longer - around 7 minutes or more. (vegrunski)
This was not what I was expecting. It smells good-spicy and pumpkin, but the flavor is different. I don't dislike it, and I think I like it, but it's almost vanilla-ey/sweet to me. I'm not quite sure about it yet! I loved that I found it..I've been wanting to try it. (AC)
Raspberry royale
Kinda disappointed in this one. It smelled so good and raspberry-y, but the flavor was not that strong, and it tasted a little..muddy? Not something I'd purchase. (AC)
Vanilla caramel

Vanilla chai

Green teas
Constant comment green
I do enjoy the constant comment. I think this is just an even milder version of normal constant comment, and the green tea flavor is not strong. I enjoy this for a mild tea. Comforting. (AC)
Earl grey green
Eh. This doesn't even seem like a green tea (which is fine by me), but it's just meh. I guess it's maybe personal preference, since Earl grey is not my favorite, but I've had better of it. (AC)
Green tea
I don't know why, but I liked this! It was a strong tea flavored green tea, but not strongly flavored GREEN, if that makes sense. I would actually get this again! (AC)
Green tea chai

Green tea with lemon

Green tea with mango

Green tea with mint

Green tea with peach

Green tea with pomegranate

Green tea with wild blueberry acai

Jasmine green

Herb teas
Apple cider
This is odd. It's too strongly flavored, or something. It tastes very artificial, and not just like apple cider. I don't have much desire to taste this again. (AC)
Blueberry harvest

Chamomile mango

Chamomile mint

Cinnamon apple
Nicely flavoured. Strong, robust flavour. Like. (blinknoodle)
Cozy chamomile

Cranberry apple

Egg noggin
This I do not enjoy. I checked the ingredients on the box, and it just said green and black teas, then on the individual bags it says "egg nog flavor," so I do not know what this means...... Nevertheless, I don't think I will be having anymore of this. It just tastes sweet (I don't like sweet teas), with an artificial flavor. I guess I can kind of imagine egg nog (?), but I don't like it. (AC)
Ginger snapish
This is pretty good for ginger, but I don't get the "snap" at all. It is quite mild with some ginger flavor, and maybe a bit of lemon. P really likes it. (AC)
I love lemon

Lemon ginger herb plus

Mint medley
This is nice. I can definitely tell the difference between this "medley" and just peppermint. It's milder in a way. (AC)
Orange and spice

Peppermint

Perfect peach

Pomegranate blueberry herb plus

Pomegranate pizzazz

Red raspberry

Sweet dreams
This is a P kinda tea, but I enjoy it as well. I'm wary of chamomile, but I like it here. The blend with the mint is nice. Not too strong, but the flavors are there. I never feel particularly sleepy or awake with different teas, but I think most teas (that I like) are comforting. I like this. (AC)
Wild blueberry acai

Novus teas
Citrus chamomile

Darjeeling

Dragon well green

Egyptian mint

Jasmine

Kenilworth ceylon

Pai mu tan
This is a white tea, so it's mild. We both enjoyed it. It reminds me of a tea used at an Asian restaurant for hot tea. I might get this again...even with the weird satchel things. (AC)
Persian pomegranate

Sapphire earl grey

Sencha

South Indian

Spiced chai

Wild encounter
This is the Novus type with the huge satchel bag thing. It's pretty weird, but has lots of pieces of things in the tea. It's not my type of tea (floraly), but P liked it ok. My mom gave it to me, and I wouldn't buy it specifically. (AC)
I actually tried this the second time we had it, and it's not bad! I still don't know that I would buy it (if they even have it anymore), but it has a nice blend of flowery/fruity. (AC)
Celestial Seasonings
Chai teas
Decaf India Spice Chai

Decaf sweet coconut Thai chai
it's ok. it does have some coconut flavor, and in fact the bags look a little greasy. no real outstanding chai-ness though, and i'm not sure what makes it thai. (fb)
India spice chai

Green teas
Antioxidant Supplement Green Tea

Authentic Green Tea

Blueberry Breeze Green Tea
LOVE this. I always have it on hand. Delicious. (veganrun)
Decaf Mandarin Orchard Green Tea

Decaf Mint Green Tea
I don't like this one. It has the same sort of chemically mint flavor going on as in the candy cane lane. I have no idea why I even bought decaf green tea, since in my experience it never works well. (sog)
Decaf Sleepytime Lemon Jasmine Green Tea

Decaffeinated Green Tea
This is okay, I guess. I just think it tastes a little...stunted. Kind of boring. (veganrun)
Gen Mai Cha Green Tea

Goji Berry Pomegranate Green Tea

Raspberry Gardens Green Tea

Herbal teas
Acaí Mango Zinger

Bengal Spice

Black Cherry Berry
This is kinda gross. It doesn't have a strong enough flavor to be good, so it's just like mild cough syrup flavor. (AC)
Caffeine Free Herbal Tea

Chamomile

Cinnamon Apple Spice
Very mixed feelings about this. It smelled supersuper good, and seemed like it was going to be amazing. However, the flavor is quite lacking, but then gets much stronger...but strange. Have cider instead. (AC)
Not too strong, and I prefer Bigelow's Cinnamon Apple instead which is stronger flavoured. (blinknoodle)
Country Peach Passion
I don't usually like peach flavored things, but I liked this. It grew on me. The flavor wasn't too strong, but mild and nice. KMK picked this out! (AC)
this is another fruit tea that worked well for me. very springy and peachy and good. (sog)
Cranberry Apple Zinger

Lemon Zinger
Pretty good! Nice lemon flavor, not too weird. Good herbal lemon tea. I do think I enjoy this more than the Bigelow lemon lift. (AC)
Mandarin Orange Spice
Quite good! I've never been a big fan of orange or spice teas, but this is nicely balanced with both flavors. Smells excellent. Very enjoyable. (AC)
This is a nicely flavoured orange-spiced tea. Not my favourite, but good on occasion. (blinknoodle)
Mint Magic

Morning Thunder

Peppermint
Really good, I like this when I'm sick. It's super refreshing. (sarah)
Definitely my favorite mint tea. It is very relaxing and soothing; it has an almost tingly affect. Very enjoyable! One of my favorite teas. (AC)
Raspberry Zinger
Pretty good. Not very strong, but ok flavor. Wouldn't pick it out, but would be ok with drinking it again. (AC)
Red Zinger
I basically grew up with this tea and I like its fruitiness, but it's way better when it's sweetened. (algae)
This is ok. It's pretty sweet/juice-like, but not too much so. Not my favorite, but don't dislike. (AC)
Roastaroma

Sleepytime
I love this tea and I also drank it a lot when I was younger. It is so calming and smells so good from the peppermint and chamomile. It's better than other teas I've had with this combination of herbs. (algae)
I grew up with this one too. Simple, yummy, sleepy tea. (sog)
Massive fan. (elliejelly)
Sleepytime Vanilla
I'm a massive fan of their original sleepytime mix, but they've added madigascan vanilla to original sleepytime and it's so incredibly delicious! It tastes a little like a vanilla biscuit would, and it hasn't hidden any of the other flavours in the mix (peppermint, chammomile, lemongrass). It blends really nicely together and has a very smooth flavour. One of my favourite herbal teas. (elliejelly)
I don't like this much. i'm just really not a fan of chamomile, and the vanilla flavor is not strong enough to make up for it. It probably would be good for a light night tea, but not my favorite. P liked it more. (AC)
Sweet Apple Chamomile

Tangerine Orange Zinger

Tension Tamer
This is not my type of tea, but I got it for P because he looks like the herbal/fruit types. He likes it, but I think it's weird. It smells like a cleaning product, and tastes..odd. It's like slight peppermint with some citrus with something else. He said it was different, but good. No noticeable taming of tension, but we don't have much tension. (AC)
Tropic of Strawberry

True Blueberry
This is excellent. One of my favorites. It's strong, and blueberry. (AC)
like AC, I really love this one. I don't usually like fruity teas that much besides blueberry and acai ones, so this one is a winner for me. In fact, I'm drinking some right now! (sog)
Wild Berry Zinger
This is better than most of the other berry ones. Still not excellent (like blueberry), but nice berry flavor. Strong enough to be BERRY. (AC)
Holiday teas
Candy Cane Lane
minty and generally pleasant. it's not just like peppermint... it's different somehow. like an actual candy cane. hard to describe. (fb)
I really didn't like this. To me it's really chemically and weird tasting, and I usually like mint teas. (sog)
Gingerbread Spice
This smells amazing and tastes yummy at the beginning, then I get sick of it as I keep drinking. I think it's a little too spiced and is a little over the top. By the time I get to the bottom, I think it's a little bitter. (veganrun)
Nutcracker Sweet
This is good. It's similar the Bigelow pumpkin spice, but only the good parts. It's sweet, but not overpowering, and just has a nice flavor. It's kind of like a buttery sugar cookie. (AC)
LOVE this. I buy this every year. Delicious. (veganrun)
Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride
My friend told me that I had to try this because it tastes just like sugar cookies and is delicious. I have no idea what she's talking about. It was kind of weird and artificial tasting. I don't remember more detail, but I don't recommend it. (algae)
I actually really like this one. My mom always buys it when it appears around Christmas and it has a sort of vanilla-y, milk thistle-y taste to it that I really like. yummers. (sog)
I have mixed feelings about this. Sometimes I think I like it, then I think it's weird. I'll finish the box, but not buy it again. (veganrun)
Sugar Plum Spice
This is too sweet and fruity. It's like a hot spiced juice...which is not entirely pleasant. P hated it, but I think I can finish the box..just not purchase it again. (AC)
-Sweet but I don't mind it. Not my favourite but still ok. (blinknoodle)
Red teas
African Orange Mango Red Tea

Madagascar Vanilla Red Tea
I really did not enjoy this.  This was my first time drinking rooibos tea, and I'm not sure if my dislike was due to the rooibos or the combination of it with the vanilla.  The smell and flavor remind me of pipe tobacco--yuck!  I couldn't finish my cup after trying it both hot and iced, and I gave the box away. (willwolf)
Moroccan Pomegranate
i don't like it. at first i thought it was the red tea i didn't like (never had it prior to this), but i think it was the pomegranate. it had a weird fruitiness to it that wasn't pomegranate, and was otherwise watery. (fb)

Lemon and lemongrass
supermarket bagged flavoured green tea. This is another of the better quality green supermarket teas I've come across. This flavour is so incredibly unique as well! I actually taste more of the lemon than the lemongrass, but that's okay. The lemon isn't tangy/zingy/sour. It's a mellow yet fresh lemon flavour. This has a green tea base, but I don't really taste it that much. I guess with flavours like lemon and lemongrass together that's to be expected? A definite must try for those who love citrus! Earl Grey Supreme
This may be "supreme," but it has a milder flavor that some other Earl Greys I've had, and I don't enjoy the strong flavor. So, I liked this. It's not a favorite, and was not particularly special, but I enjoyed it. It's well rounded. (AC)
House foods
Barley tea
Dislike. It has kind of an odd, chocolatey-sweet flavor. While that sounds great, it's actually kind of unappetizing here... it's hard to describe, but it's only this brand i've found. I've gotten loose roasted barley for tea and it's been way better. This almost has an artificial flavor to it even though it's literally just barley. (fb)

Gyokuro cha
I don't really like this. Gyokuro is basically the youngest, "nicest," and most expensive crop of green tea. It's supposed to be more 'delicate' in flavor, but i find that just means less flavor. It's hard to get much to come out of this tea. Even so, longer brewing just increases the tannins and makes it bitter. I just think i like later spring/summer green tea, even if this is fancy. (fb)
Matcha
comes in a little jar. i keep it in the fridge because i find it helps retain the color (the bright green tends to fade after a while). Matcha is notoriously difficult to mix, and I can usually do an ok job with a handheld latte frother and soymilk. It would probably work out better in a warm beverage. For baking, I never usually have issues with clumping and mix it in with the dry ingredients. Tastes very earthy and "green," and while it's cool i prefer sencha. (fb)
Sencha
Pretty good, but the flavor isn't quite as strong as the Yamamotoyama one. I don't prefer it as much, but it's still good. It doesn't re-brew as well either. (fb)

Green tea with lemon myrtle
This is just GORGEOUS!! This is the tea I drink most commonly, and when I run out I have a mini tantrum LOL Another supermarket bagged green tea. It's a good quality green tea as well, but can be a little on the astringent side. This has been flavoured with a native australian plant called Lemon Myrtle. It has a citrus flavour, but it doesn't taste identical to lemon, but it's flavour is certainly reminiscent of citrus. This tea doesn't become too bitter if left to steep for too long. I know I've left it accidentally for 15 minutes..yes I kid you not, and it's still drinkable! This is a mild flavour which lovers of citrus will enjoy. I want to say there's a slight floral flavour to it. (elliejelly)
Oxfam
Organic green tea
Usually am very wary of picking up bagged green tea at the supermarket, they usually taste awful. I have nothing but good things to say about this tea! It tastes exactly what a green tea ought to - fresh, clean and pure. It's not bitter like a lot of supermarket greens can be. It's actually a little on the smooth side which is really lovely. This is perhaps the best quality bagged pure green tea I've found in the supermarket to date, and I'm not sure anything will beat this. Bonus: it's organic and it's Oxfam! (elliejelly)

Fantastic. The only thing I don't like about this tea is how small the pieces are, some always winds up going through my strainer or getting stuck in it. (sarah)

Pretty good. I didn't realize it was a hibiscus tea. It has a good amount of cinnamon in it, very good iced. (sarah)

Creme Caramel Decaf Black Tea
i like this. it's a pretty regular tasting black tea, and there's a bit of a caramel flavor. i drink tea without sweetener, so that flavor might not be as noticeable with one (especially something caramel-y like Sugar in the Raw). I don't usually like black tea, so this is an exception.  (fb)

Surprisingly very tasty! 1. not a huge fan of Earl Grey typically 2. Stash always seems to be less flavorful...  but this one is nice. It's still not super strong, but has a well balanced citrus and tea flavor. Very enjoyable. (AC)
Earl Grey Decaf Black Tea
This is kind of weak tasting for Early Grey. My bf loves Earl Grey but my mom got him some of this kind because she remembered that I'd bought him Stash tea before because he loves the Licorice Spice. It's not as good as other Earl Greys. But add some soymilk and sugar and it's still a decent bergamoty black tea. (algae)

Chai Green Tea
hmm a little more gingery than standard 'chai' flavor, but otherwise it's pretty much the same. it's a pretty good chai (not too much cinnamon), but i like chai with more cardamom better. (fb)
I thought I was going to dislike this, because 1. I don't like most green teas 2. chai is not really my favorite 3. It smelled SO strong, however, I guess they balance each other out, because it was just a mild tea with light spice. Maybe I like the gingery chai more. I don't know that I would specifically buy it, but I like it. (AC)
Not really a fan of this one either, perhaps because it is a green tea. (blinknoodle)

love this one. it has the perfect balance of tart lemon flavor and spicy ginger. pretty potent, and i drink it for any reason (cold, upset stomach, days that end in Y) (fb)
Upon first drink, this was like WHOA lemon and ginger (which was surprising because Stash is usually more mild), but it's really good. It does have a nice balance of each, but both prominent. The ginger does get pretty strong as you get down to the bottom, but I enjoy it. (AC)
Licorice Spice Herbal Tea
I was skeptical of this tea because I'm not generally a licorice fan, but my bf convinced me to try it and now I love it. It smells really good and the licorice gives it a really nice natural sweetness so I don't use sweetener when I drink this. Licorice does good things for teas. (algae)

I knew P would like this, but wasn't sure how I would feel about it since I don't usually like mint things. I really like it. I think this is one case where the milder flavor of Stash works well. It's a nice subtle peppermint flavor, but still very much there. The scent is STRONG, so I was thinking it'd be too much. It's really nice. It kind of burns the throat with mint. I would get this again. (AC)

French Earl Gray
Black tea with the classic earl grey flavours but with a cute difference! It has a fruity flavour to it and it smells exactly how it tastes. It smells a little like bubblegum. This is a strongly flavoured black tea, so for those who enjoy subtle flavours this is not for you. Those who enjoy earl grey and want to try something different I highly recommend it! Also I've noticed the black tea in this is not very strong. I've accidentally left it steeping for 5 minutes, and it's not insanely bitter - hooray! (elliejelly)

Black teas
Awake
regular ole black tea. has a kind of citrus-y thing going though. but i prefer green. (fb)
Yeah, I didn't notice any difference between this and other black tea. I didn't taste the citrus, but I had some almond milk in it. I didn't particularly feel awake, but tea was ok. (AC)
Chai
chai. this one gets pretty spicy, and seems to have a good helping of ginger. i want to brew it longer, but the black tea gets in the way and gets bitter. oh well. it's strong enough to make a tea latte out of, but the water really does have to be hot to get the spice flavor out. it seems to have a pretty good level of caffeine, because i can feel it! (fb)
I don't think I"m a huge chai fan, but this is not bad. Spices are fine, not tootoo strong. I'd drink it again. (AC)
By the time I tried Chai, I was convinced that I just didn't like Tazo teas. I really don't like their chai. It's too licoricey tasting and spicy for me. Like all of the tazo teas I've tried, I just got the bag from Starbucks at barnes & noble. I've never bought a whole box of them, thankfully. (sog)
I'm not a huge fan of chai, but its pretty good. (sarah)
Decaf chai
This seems spicier than the regular chai? I don't know if it actually is, but it sure tasted like it. Not my favorite, and definitely wouldn't get this again. I think it's an ok blend of spices, but pretty strong. (AC)
CONTRADICTING AC: this is not as deliciously spicy as the regular chai. No bite to it. What happened? Are decaf drinkers wusses? WHERE IS MY CHAI (fb)
Early Grey
same type as Awake, but has that awesome bergamot smell. I like serving this, but drinking it's always kind of disappointing because you can smell the bergamot but can't really taste it... but if i were deciding between this and Awake, I would choose this just because of the aroma. (fb)
I think I could taste the bergamot pretty strongly. I don't know exactly what that is, but I definitely tasted something other than tea. I would actually choose a plain black tea, because if I want a flavor..I'll have an herbal/flavored tea. I wasn't a huge fan of that..flavor. (AC)
Focus
I'm finding that I don't much like Tazo black teas. Too many competing flavors. This has orange and cocoa and something else..which is mainly just orange. It does brew pretty strongly, but it's strongly flavored with the orange. Eh. (AC)
Green teas
China green tips
pretty green! I'm not sure what variety this tea really is, but it seems like it's a younger crop than regular bancha (later summer) green tea would be. i like it best because it's pretty similar to sencha. (fb)
I actually don't mind this. I think it's pretty mild. I like black tea better, but this is better than the other green tea I've had. (AC)
this was the first Tazo tea I ever tried, and was really disappointed. It was too delicate for me, and not that great tasting. (sog)
Lotus
I thought it was zen, but this is the one I do not like. It's too mild to have such flowery flavor. Don't like these kind. (AC)
Zen
regular green tea, plus some lemongrass and spearmint and such. This was pretty popular at the Starbucks I worked at, and while it's likeable none of the added flavors are too strong that they're really really noticeable. This is also what they use for iced green tea. Even though it's flavored, it seems plain to me. (fb)
So, this turns out to be ok. Mild, with a little flowery flavor. Not too much of anything, though. I'd drink it again, but wouldn't choose it over some others. Yeah, pretty plain. (AC)
I think Zen was slightly better than China green tips, but I still wasn't wowed. I wouldn't buy it again. (sog)
This is my favorite thing ever. Iced or hot, it wins. (sarah)
Not particularly thrilled with this tea. (blinknoodle)
Herbal teas
African red bush
A good general tea; it kind of reminds me of black tea, even though it has more flavorings. It's more mellow though. For a little while Starbucks offered this as a latte, but I think the flavor is too mellow for that and gets drowned out by any creamer type of thing. (fb)
Calm
chamomile tea, and kind of sweet. tastes like every other chamomile tea... (fb)
Do not like! I guess I don't like chamomile tea, but P really enjoyed it. I don't like the flowery things. (AC)
Passion
Tart and fruity. Really potent color and flavor... one could probably use a single bag for more than a cup. It's pretty astringent so you'd need more water... It's so tangy that at Starbucks we would combine this (iced) with orange syrup to make "kool aid." It goes well with lemonade and other fruity, summery type of flavors.  (fb)
Whoa! I'll have to have another mug of this to see how I feel. The first drink was like agh! ew! but then it got better. It's very powerful, fruity, and tangy. And colorful! (AC)
Yum. I love this. Its great iced, or you can steep it with the orange tea, its so yummy. (sarah)
I am decidedly not a fan of herbal teas--I usually like plain, strong black tea...or coffee--but this was delicious. Very berryish and tart, almost a "juice" flavor. Even more refreshing and enjoyable iced. (aggplanta)
My mom can't get enough of this stuff. Since summertime we've been finding boxes of it at TJ Maxx for pretty cheap and I make big pitchers of it weekly for iced tea to keep in the fridge. I'm not a big fan of it hot, but cold it's awesome. Very berry-ish and juicy tasting! (sog)
Do not like. Too fruity. (blinknoodle)
Refresh
peppermint, spearmint, tarragon. It's ok. I don't like mint tea that much (I drink it more for function than flavor), and I don't like tarragon, so I tend not to get this. (fb)
Like the combination of mint in this tea. (blinknoodle)
Spicy ginger
Got this for P, and he doesn't like it much. It is a bit strange. It's more licorice flavored than ginger. Not enough ginger flavor for "spicy ginger." (AC)
Wild sweet orange
pretty close to Passion in flavor (tart, astringent), while tasting more like... orange. I think it's a good tea for someone who doesn't like tea, if that makes sense. Almost like "juice" if you sweeten it.  (fb)
This is not bad. I'm not a huge orange flavor fan, but it's not too strong, but there. P's favorite. I wouldn't pick it out, but I didn't hate it. Orange mixed with other fruity things. (AC)
I was middle of the line with this tea. It was okay, but I still will probably stay away from Tazo in general from now on. (sog)
Super good, I like to either super sweeten it or have it sans sugar. Or steep it with Passion tea. (sarah)
I had this this morning and liked it much better than the last time I had it. Like, I loved it! I added a little stevia and it tasted like a mandrarin orange. I think this tea would be awesome chilled as well. (sog)
Despite this being a bit sweet, I like this one. (blinknoodle)
White tea
Berry blossom
This is a good mild tea, a little too bland for me though. It has a vague blueberry taste, but mostly I feel like I'm drinking hot water with essence of white tea. I've been blending it with the Passion tea in our iced tea pitcher, mostly to make the Passion to last longer and use this stuff up. (sog)
Tea of Life
Guava
Pretty good. Better than these other flavors so far. P really likes it, and says it has a "full flavor." (AC)
Orange spice
I haven't tried this one yet, but P liked it a lot the first time (said it reminded him of an orange scone?), then thought it was something different the second time, and didn't like it. (AC)
Passionfruit
This is kind of gross in a way, because it stinks and it has a strange aftertaste, but the actual flavor is not that bad. Mild passionfruit kinda thing. Wouldn't buy it again specifically. (AC)
Pomegranate
Pom. teas are always disappointing, but this is not bad. Mild. (AC)
Teavana
Apple Lemon Pomegranate Rooibos Tea

Azteca Fire Herbal Tea

Citron sonata green tea
Absolutely disgusting! Usually I love green tea and fruit but this was artificial tasting and bitter. (minke)
Earl grey creme
Hands down, this is my ultimate favorite! It is perfect, smells amazing, tastes amazing and is just the best tea that I have ever had. (minke)
Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls
Hands down, my second favorite tea and runner up for first place. This is a jasmine infused tea (I love jasmine). This one is usually mixed with the Rooibos Tropica  to create a blend but is also good on its own. (minke)
My morning mate
Awesome tea! It's like a mixture of chocolate and coffee. To me, it definitely doesn't replace coffee but is still great. (minke)
Peach tranquility
Loved this! Very light and peachy tasting. No artificial tastes.  (minke)
Rooibos Chai
Nice, not great. (blinknoodle)
Rooibos Tropica
A great rooibos on its own but is frequently blended with JDPP. Still great on its own though. (minke)
Spice of Life White Tea
I like it but not overwhelmed by it. (blinknoodle)
Strawberry Paraiso White Tea
Nicely flavoured, a bit sweet, not bad. (blinknoodle)
Strawberry Slender Pu-Erh
This is pretty good tasting, kind of dark but fruity/strawberry. My only problem with this is that it has a weird after feeling. Not an after taste but an after feeling, it's hard to describe but it makes your mouth feel soft. (minke)
Three Kingdoms Mao Feng
This is a very, very light and mildly grassy tasting green tea. It's very good and if you're someone who messes up and routinely comes out with bitter green tea, this is a good one for you. I'm pretty sure this one was discontinued though. (minke)
Tiramisu treviso
This is pretty good, very light, it's a good one to combine and make a blend. Doesn't taste much like Tiramisu but it's still good. Again, best for blending.  (minke)
White Ayurvedic Chai Tea
This is my favourite. Nice, complex flavours.
Zingiber Ginger Coconut Rooibos Tea
Nice, good combination of flavours. (blinknoodle)
This is the best tea I have ever had in my entire life. I've been saving the last tiny bit I have because then I know I have some. Expensive but worth it. It is seriously amazing. Everyone needs to have this. All the time. Make sure you sweeten it a little bit and have it over ice. Mmm. (sarah)

Cream
Green Flavoured green tea - the name is quite misleading. It's been flavoured with vanilla and caramel. Not sure of this combination with green tea. They make this with black tea and I bet it tastes much better in that variant. It smells much better than it tastes in the green version, and I don't detect any caramel about it just vanilla. Medium flavour strength. (elliejelly)
Japanese Cherry
Green tea flavoured with cherry. However this will not taste gross like cheap artificial cherry aka cherry chapstick! It's not sour either it's a very mellow and tart cherry flavour. Very natural. Light flavour strength. (elliejelly)
Japanese Garden
Holy crap this is easily in my top 2 teas. It's a flavoured green tea and this is the ingredients list for it - Green tea, white tea, pinapple, strawberry, mallow leaves, papaya & rose flowers GORGEOUS TO THE EXTREME! The ingredients are similar to the Green Rose from T2 but they taste so different and I am 100% sure it's the mallow. I've never had mallow before but this tea is incredibly smooth and delicate. This is a tea I always recommend to people. The fruits aren't strong, and it tastes more floral than fruity. The actual green tea used I think is a sencha tea, but I am not sure. (elliejelly)
Japanese Lime
Green tea flavoured with lemon and lime. Not very strong in smell or taste. Quite light. It's not tangy or zingy like some lemon teas could be, it's been sweetened because of the main flavour - the lime. Also comes with daisies in it - I don't know why they're there, but they're cute and I love them! If you hate very strong flavoured teas give this one a try. (elliejelly)
Touch Organic
Green tea
I much prefer this over the Earl Grey green. This is just mild, with not much flavor. Not something I'd seek out, but drinkable. (AC)
Earl Grey green tea
This is pretty weird. I'm not a huge fan of strong green tea, so this is not my favorite. The green tea mixed with the Earl Grey just tasted...weird. (AC)

Ceylon orange pekoe
This is an average strongish tea. I don't know what "ceylon orange pekoe" is really supposed to be, but there's no hint of orange. I guess it's not even supposed to be orange... not really something I'm interested in getting again. (AC)
China oolong
I got this on sale at our grocer, and I'm glad I did. Of all the oolongs I've tasted this has got to be the fussiest (water must be the right temp or it gets burnt tasting) and least rewarding. Won't buy again. (sog)
Christmas tea
Good. It's not really any pronounced flavor, but just a mildly spiced nice tea. I like that's it's not overwhelmingly spiced, as that is off putting to me. I don't think that it's necessarily like Christmas, but I enjoy it. (AC)
Darjeeling

Earl grey
This was different than other Earl greys I've had. It was more citrusy, or different citrusy, or something. Maybe stronger with lemon? Or more bergamot? Dunno. I liked it ok, but it was different. Earl grey is not my favorite, anyway. (AC)
English afternoon

English breakfast
Really like this! I've had like 5 different chai teas that I've been trying to drink my way through, so this was very pleasant after those. It's one of my favorite black teas that I've had. It's pretty strong, but yet..light. It has a nice tea flavor + a bit of something? Tastes a little vanilla-y. Would get it again. (AC)
English breakfast naturally decaffeinated
I got the decaf on accident, and there's something off putting about it. Not sure what, but I enjoy the regular. I wouldn't get this again. (AC)
Irish breakfast
I enjoy this as well. I don't know that I could really detect too much of a difference between this and English. I might like the English more? I like both. (AC)
Lady grey
I was surprised by this! It's milder than Earl grey, but has a slight citrus flavor (more like orange). I like this way more than Earl grey, and would choose it over others. (AC)

This is pretty good. I'm finding that I consistently like the Twinings teas. This has kind of like a very slight licorice smell/taste (It's supposed to have a hazelnut taste...) with the normal black tea flavor. I like it ok, but wouldn't get it again. I prefer the Irish breakfast. (AC)

African rooibus

Black currants, ginseng, and Tahitian vanilla
I always get different herbal teas for P, so this was next. It smells awful..like dirty socks. However, the flavor is good-mildly berryish with a tropical flavor. Slightly mild, pretty good. He said it was his second favorite, after a mixed berry one. (AC)

Winter spice
I drank this a lot last week through the worst of my cold because teas that are too fragrant when I'm sick make me feel sicker. That being said, this is a pretty good tea. It has a very light flavor, none of the spices are too overpowering. I just leave the bag in the cup the whole time I'm drinking it because I want it to gimme all it's got. I probably won't buy again, though, because when I'm well I prefer stronger flavors. (sog)
Yamamtoyama
Green teas
Hoji cha
I also like this. It's roasted green tea, so it has a similar flavor to genmai-cha (where there is roasted rice with green tea) without the really strong flavor of rice. It's a nice change from regular green tea, and it takes on the color of black tea. It's more like regular tea in terms of brewing time and temp. (fb)
Sencha
i love sencha and refuse to befriend anyone who doesn't like it, except AC. she's cool. anyway, even though sencha's not the youngest/highest quality Japanese green tea, it's my favorite (and particularly this brand), because it is young enough to have the grassy/vegetable flavor but old enough to have the regular tea tannin type of flavor. What's also cool is that tea can be reused for a few more brewings, and it tastes a little different on repeated brews, but it's generally like a cross between green tea and (non-salt) vegetable broth. And, this tea is different than regular bagged green tea because it's brewed at a lower temp (~140 i think) and for a shorter time (1 minute). It's weird because after a minute it's lighter than a few minutes after removing the tea bag, where it's a brighter yellow. Anyway. I would drink this every day if I had some. (fb)

Classic India Spice
Classic Cinnamon Spice is a loose tea that they sell in Germany and I think is the same as the India Spice. I make it 1 part soymilk to 3 parts water, as the instructions say, simmer it on the stove for about 20 minutes, and sweeten with agave. It's the best chai. It's rich and aromatic and spicy and really good with agave. Yummmm. (algae)

Comforting Chamomile

DeTox
This tea is kind of healthy herby tasting. The licorice adds a nice sweetness, which is good because it would feel weird to add sweetener to a detox tea. I didn't notice any time of detoxification from drinking it but it is pleasant and earthy.  (algae)
Echinacea Immune Support

Egyptian Licorice

Egyptian Licorice Mint
Not as good as Stash's Licorice Spice tea, but the addition of mint gives it a nice extra layer of flavor. (algae)
Really enjoy this. I didn't think I liked licorice teas until I started drinking Yogi teas. (blinknoodle)
Get Regular

Ginger
stronger ginger than the Lemon Ginger Stash tea, but i guess that's expected because that's the only flavor listed. however, there are more ingredients, including licorice. I don't like licorice! it makes this taste a little weird and soapy. when i felt like i needed ginger (digestion) i would have this, but now i'm happy to make my own ginger tea to avoid the licoricey flavor here. (fb)
Ginger Orange with Vanilla
Not my favourite. I was hoping for more ginger but the flavours get all jumbled. (blinknoodle)
Ginkgo Clarity
This is okay for a morning in class type of tea where you aren't particularly paying attention to the tea but want something to drink and wake you up a little. When I drink it at home, I don't really like it that much. There's a bit of a weird aftertaste, but it is okay. (sog)

Joint Comfort

Kava Stress Relief
My mom buys this all the time. I have tried it a few times and really like it. To me it sort of has a marshmellow-y aftertaste, and while you are drinking it it is a little bit spicy/sweet. And it makes me fall asleep much better than CS' Sleepytime. (sog)
Lemon Ginger
This tea is very refreshing. I think it's actually good for settling the stomach but it's not for someone who doesn't like ginger. (algae)
Mayan Cocoa Spice
I like this, but I'm not crazy about it. Zhena''s Gypsy teas makes one similar to this that I muchly prefer. (sog)
OK, not great. (blinknoodle)

Coconut Chai
My mom loves this one, I am not omglove about it but that is because it's coconut. I'm not that big of a coconut fan, but the combination with the chai is nice. (sog)
I bought some of this for myself for Christmas.  I don't really notice the coconut, which is a bit disappointing, but it's a really good chai.  Usually, when I try to brew my own chai (rather than using the liquid concentrate) it's not strong enough, but this made a good strong cup. (veggydog)
Country Peach
like this a lot, but don't drink it very often because I do a lot of nightly tea drinking and this one's black. I think it would be an excellent choice for making iced tea, though. (sog)
Earl Greater Grey

Gypsy King Chai
This is a nice, substantial black chai. I love Zhena's chai, and this one tastes similar to Fireside Chai but only it's caffeinated. Not overly spicy, a little sweet, and with a good dose of cardamom and orange peels just the way I like it. (sog)
Gypsy Rose
I like this a lot, but especially with a little soy milk. I think this has a very strong rose aroma, which can some times bother me, but when you put soy in it it tames it down a bit and you taste the other flavors in it better because you're not just thinking about the rose part. (sog)
Peach Ginger

Raspberry Earl
I think that this might be my favorite flavored earl grey. For some reason, raspberry just seems like a natural match for the flavor of earl grey. Maybe I'm just thinking of the colors that they remind me of, which is dark purple and (obviously) grey. In any case, it's a lovely tea. (sog)
Green teas
Coconut Chai Green Tea

Dragonwell (formerly Gracious Green)
I have this as the loose leaves, and I like it. It's a very regular green tea, nothing too fancy but a quality green. (sog)
Earl Green

Egyptian Mint
THIS one is my absolute favorite green tea of any brand or flavor. It used to be called "Grand Green" (Why zhena's changes the names of their teas so much i have no idea) so that is the name on the tin that I use to refill with the bags, and the label describes it as "A Minty & Sweet Green Tea for Living Wild & Well." That about sums it up. It's delicious hot or cold and though it is already a little sweet because it has stevia in it, is great with a little extra sweetener. (sog)
Goji Cacao Berry

Lemon Jasmine

Pom & Petals

Herbal teas
Acai Berry (formerly Brazilian Berry)

Blueberry acai
This, next to CS True Blueberry, is my favorite fruity tea. This one's especially delicious when made in a large pitcher like sun tea, then chilled and very lightly sweetened. It is very refreshing, smells pretty, pretty dark pink color, just an overall great tea experience. I feel fancy when drinking it, for some reason. (sog)
Caramel Apple
I recieved this and chocolate chai as a gift from my aunt for xmas last year, but I'm not quite sure what to think of them. The caramel apple can taste a little too..appley for me and I'm not sure if that's something I like in a tea.  (sog)
Chocolate Chai
This one I really liked at first, then one night I got carried away and had like 4 cups in a row of it and got SUPER burnt on it. I think if you just drink it occasionally and as a once in a while thing, others would really like it too. (sog)
Fire Light Chai (formerly Fireside Chai)
This is my favorite chai of all time. It tastes similar to the King Chai (see that review), but since it's herbal that means I drink it all the time. hehe. (sog)
Italian Chamomile

Luminous Lemon Rooibos

Pumpkin Spice

Red Lavender
I got this from my aunt as well. Lavender is such a nice addition to the rooibos base. Nice aroma, nice color, just a very relaxing, lovely tea.  (sog)

Ambrosia plum

Sense of Peace
This is my absolute favorite tea of any brand or flavor. It's a nice white tea that doesn't taste overly delicate like some of them can, with a faint rosey aroma and is AMAZING slightly sweetened. I usually use it as an afternoon pick me up type tea but really it is great any time of the day. (sog)

Celestial Seasonings
Decaf sweet coconut Thai chai
it's ok. it does have some coconut flavor, and in fact the bags look a little greasy. no real outstanding chai-ness though, and i'm not sure what makes it thai.

Holiday teas
Candy Cane Lane
minty and generally pleasant. it's not just like peppermint... it's different somehow. like an actual candy cane. hard to describe.

Red Tea
Moroccan Pomegranate
i don't like it. at first i thought it was the red tea i didn't like (never had it prior to this), but i think it was the pomegranate. it had a weird fruitiness to it that wasn't pomegranate, and was otherwise watery.

Stash
Black tea
Creme Caramel Decaf Black Tea
i like this. it's a pretty regular tasting black tea, and there's a bit of a caramel flavor. i drink tea without sweetener, so that flavor might not be as noticeable with one (especially something caramel-y like Sugar in the Raw). I don't usually like black tea, so this is an exception.

Chai teas
Chai Green Tea
hmm a little more gingery than standard 'chai' flavor, but otherwise it's pretty much the same. it's a pretty good chai (not too much cinnamon), but i like chai with more cardamom better.

Herbal
Lemon Ginger herbal tea
love this one. it has the perfect balance of tart lemon flavor and spicy ginger. pretty potent, and i drink it for any reason (cold, upset stomach, days that end in Y)

Yogi tea
ginger
stronger ginger than the Lemon Ginger Stash tea, but i guess that's expected because that's the only flavor listed. however, there are more ingredients, including licorice. I don't like licorice! it makes this taste a little weird and soapy. when i felt like i needed ginger (digestion) i would have this, but now i'm happy to make my own ginger tea to avoid the licoricey flavor here.

Yamamotoyama
Sencha
i love sencha and refuse to befriend anyone who doesn't like it, except AC. she's cool. anyway, even though sencha's not the youngest/highest quality Japanese green tea, it's my favorite (and particularly this brand), because it is young enough to have the grassy/vegetable flavor but old enough to have the regular tea tannin type of flavor.

Hoji-cha
I also like this. It's roasted green tea, so it has a similar flavor to genmai-cha (where there is roasted rice with green tea) without the really strong flavor of rice. It's a nice change from regular green tea, and it takes on the color of black tea. It's more like regular tea in terms of brewing time and temp.

Maeda-en
Matcha
comes in a little jar =) i keep it in the fridge because i find it helps retain the color (the bright green tends to fade after a while).

Gyokuro-cha
I don't really like this. Gyokuro is basically the youngest, "nicest," and most expensive crop of green tea. It's supposed to be more 'delicate' in flavor, but i find that just means less flavor. It's hard to get much to come out of this tea. Even so, longer brewing just increases the tannins and makes it bitter. I just think i like later spring/summer green tea, even if this is fancy.

House Foods
Barley Tea

Tazo
Chai
chai. this one gets pretty spicy, and seems to have a good helping of ginger. i want to brew it longer, but the black tea gets in the way and gets bitter. oh well. it's strong enough to make a tea latte out of, but the water really does have to be hot to get the spice flavor out. it seems to have a pretty good level of caffeine, because i can feel it!

Awake
regular ole black tea. has a kind of citrus-y thing going though. but i prefer green.

Earl Grey
same type as Awake, but has that awesome bergamot smell. I like serving this, but drinking it's always kind of disappointing because you can smell the bergamot but can't really taste it... but if i were deciding between this and Awake, I would choose this just because of the aroma.

China Green Tips
pretty green! I'm not sure what variety this tea really is, but it seems like it's a younger crop than regular bancha (later summer) green tea would be. i like it best because it's pretty similar to sencha.

Zen
regular green tea, plus some lemongrass and spearmint and such. This was pretty popular at the Starbucks I worked at, and while it's likeable none of the added flavors are too strong that they're really really noticeable. This is also what they use for iced green tea. Even though it's flavored, it seems plain to me.

Refresh
peppermint, spearmint, tarragon. It's ok. I don't like mint tea that much (I drink it more for function than flavor), and I don't like tarragon, so I tend not to get this.

Wild Sweet Orange
pretty close to Passion in flavor (tart, astringent), while tasting more like... orange. I think it's a good tea for someone who doesn't like tea, if that makes sense. Almost like "juice" if you sweeten it.

African Red Bush
A good general tea; it kind of reminds me of black tea, even though it has more flavorings. It's more mellow though. For a little while Starbucks offered this as a latte, but I think the flavor is too mellow for that and gets drowned out by any creamer type of thing.

Calm
chamomile tea, and kind of sweet. tastes like every other chamomile tea...

i don't like it. at first i thought it was the red tea i didn't like (never had it prior to this), but i think it was the pomegranate. it had a weird fruitiness to it that wasn't pomegranate, and was otherwise watery.

I feel the same way about the pom one I had. Weird taste.

QUESTION: (from tea newb) When you are "brewing" the bagged teas, what is the best way to do it? I just put the tea bags in cups, heat the water in microwave, pour water over bags, move bags around, leave bag in, start drinking.

This might be totally stupid, but if anyone can clarify this for me : is the Lipton Vanilla Caramel tea is vegan? The label in switzerland says "caramel 10%" and the French label says "caramel flavour". Caramel isn't vegan right?  :-\

That's a good question! I think it depends on the caramel product, but I would GUESS that 'caramel powder' (what the US label says) is vegan. However, I obviously don't know for sure. I tried to do a question on the Lipton site, but couldn't find anything. Maybe you'd have better luck with contacting them? I thought of omitting all of the honey teas from the list, but didn't even think about caramel!

Yes, I think I'll try to contact them. It sounds like a really good tea and I'd love to try it!
The 10% caramel thing seems weird, maybe it's just a flavoring. I'll contact them and keep you updated!

i think i had the gingerbread one, but i can't remember how it was...

i pretty much do the same thing for tea bags - i heat the water up in the cup i'm going to use, then add the tea bag, wait 3-4 minutes depending on type, and remove the bag. i think most bagged tea works at boiling/3-4 minutes, versus the 'young' green teas that are brewed at particular temps and times. for those, i follow what's on the bag or what i find on the internets. some people actually warm the cups themselves too (using a steamer) so that the tea doesn't cool down a lot when it touches the cup. but... i'm far too lazy for that.

Celestial Seasonings
Red Zinger
I basically grew up with this tea and I like its fruitiness, but it's way better when it's sweetened.

Sleepytime
I love this tea and I also drank it a lot when I was younger. It is so calming and smells so good from the peppermint and chamomile. It's better than other teas I've had with this combination of herbs.

Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride
My friend told me that I had to try this because it tastes just like sugar cookies and is delicious. I have no idea what she's talking about. It was kind of weird and artificial tasting. I don't remember more detail, but I don't recommend it.

Stash
Earl Grey Decaf Black Tea
This is kind of weak tasting for Early Grey. My bf loves Earl Grey but my mom got him some of this kind because she remembered that I'd bought him Stash tea before because he loves the Licorice Spice. It's not as good as other Earl Greys. But add some soymilk and sugar and it's still a decent bergamoty black tea.

Sandman PM Herbal Tea
This stuff is trying to be Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime and failing. It's kind of bland and musty tasting. Don't buy it!

Yogi
Calming
Another chamomile-based tea, but this one has some interesting flavors added to it. I still prefer Sleepytime if I'm going to drink a chamomile based tea, but this one is pretty good. I don't think it actually calms me though.

Yummmm.

Detox
This tea is kind of healthy herby tasting. The licorice adds a nice sweetness, which is good because it would feel weird to add sweetener to a detox tea. I didn't notice any time of detoxification from drinking it but it is pleasant and earthy.

Egyptian Licorice Mint
Not as good as Stash's Licorice Spice tea, but the addition of mint gives it a nice extra layer of flavor.

Lemon Ginger
This tea is very refreshing. I think it's actually good for settling the stomach but it's not for someone who doesn't like ginger.

Tazo Awake

Yeah, I didn't notice any difference between this and other black tea. I didn't taste the citrus, but I had some almond milk in it. I didn't particularly feel awake, but tea was ok.

Chai

I don't think I"m a huge chai fan, but this is not bad. Spices are fine, not tootoo strong. I'd drink it again.

Early Grey

I think I could taste the bergamot pretty strongly. I don't know exactly what that is, but I definitely tasted something other than tea. I would actually choose a plain black tea, because if I want a flavor..I'll have an herbal/flavored tea. I wasn't a huge fan of that..flavor.

Zen

I don't really like this. I think the actual tea was ok, but I didn't like the flavors much. Too flowery.

Calm

Do not like! I guess I don't like chamomile tea, but P really enjoyed it. I don't like the flowery things. (AC)

Wild sweet orange

This is not bad. I'm not a huge orange flavor fan, but it's not too strong, but there. P's favorite. I wouldn't pick it out, but I didn't hate it. Orange mixed with other fruity things.

AC, why were you expecting citrus flavor in this?  This is just their regular black tea (and the one I choose when Tazo is on the buffet).  I'm guessing it must say "orange pekoe" on the label, which is just a type of black tea, despite the name.

I would join in the reviews but, while I love tea, I'm not really a fan of flavored teas.  My reviews would be boring because I'm always just going to choose whatever the company's standard black tea is.  I used to drink Tetley British Blend until I switched to fair trade teas.  Then I was drinking Choice Black until my HFS got bulk fair trade organic tea.  Now I don't even know what brand I'm drinking, but the type is Irish Breakfast.

Oh, I only said that because fb said she noticed a citrusy thing. ; ) You're welcome to add your black tea reviews! Some might be better than others. I'll add those brands.

I have to defend Tazo Zen a bit, because I haven't tried that one yet. It was lotus that I meant for that Zen review.

China green tips

I actually don't mind this. I think it's pretty mild. I like black tea better, but this is better than the other green tea I've had.
;)

Passion

Whoa! I'll have to have another mug of this to see how I feel. The first drink was like agh! ew! but then it got better. It's very powerful, fruity, and tangy. And colorful!

haha, really?  I think I had a feeling I had done that, but I guess forgot to go back and check! will fix.

eta: no, but I really appreciate when you all tell me things like that, because I sometimes get confused in there with all the type.

Stash Peppermint Herbal Tea
I knew P would like this, but wasn't sure how I would feel about it since I don't usually like mint things. I really like it. I think this is one case where the milder flavor of Stash works well. It's a nice subtle peppermint flavor, but still very much there. The scent is STRONG, so I was thinking it'd be too much. It's really nice. It kind of burns the throat with mint. I would get this again.

Fusion Green & White Tea
This is ok. A mild greenish type tea. It's extremely mild, though, and just kind of there. I wouldn't purchase it again. I'm finding that Stash seems more mild on their "flavors" than other teas. I have purchased them more than others, but think I'll switch to Tazo or something else.

Tazo Decaf chai
This seems spicier than the regular chai? I don't know if it actually is, but it sure tasted like it. Not my favorite, and definitely wouldn't get this again. I think it's an ok blend of spices, but pretty strong.

Tazo Zen
So, this turns out to be ok. Mild, with a little flowery flavor. Not too much of anything, though. I'd drink it again, but wouldn't choose it over some others. Yeah, pretty plain.
