yeah that quote makes no sense... i understand that they can't say it for sure 100% yet so they're not telling people to load up and they'll be cured, but after studying that many women and seeing the result i don't see why they just wouldnt say "it wouldnt hurt to add some soy, cus the odds are it's a really good thing" especially since they stress that the age girls start eating it can be very important.
I am really impressed that this also mentioned males with breast cancer. You hardly ever hear about it, even on the Relay for Life things.

here's another one - i don't know if it's the exact same article - but it's about the same study. they specify asian-american girls, but that's mainly who they studied so it seems like it would be helpful for all girls.
