Superstar VegWebber of the week: lotus42!

I think lotus42 (http://vegweb.com/index.php?action-profile;u=70492) brings us our most adorable and romantic questionnaire answers to date! Between Dan Savage and Spicy Peanut Butter Tempeh, hoo boy, I was totally blushing! Anyway, I will stop embarrassing everyone reading this (and myself) and just say how awesome, funny, kind, and welcoming lotus42 is, and how lucky we are to have her on the site. And Cam, you might have to be next week's Superstar VegWebber. Only fitting, right??

VegWebber since? March 2007 (Like Little2Ant, I stumbled upon vw while searching for a pumpkin pie recipe)

Vegetarian, Vegan or ?? Vegan

Where do you call home? Columbia, SC

What do you do when you're not on VegWeb?  I teach music to little kiddies, cook, and practice yoga

Do you have blog or website? Nope.

Do you tweet? I don't even really know what that is.

One unique thing should know about you?  I have a freakishly good memory.  Like, I remember almost every detail of my childhood.

What’s the best thing about being vegan? (if you are!)  I don't even think about buying pre-made stuff most of the time.  I never knew how easy (and fun) cooking from scratch could be until I became vegan.

Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb?  Spicy Peanut Butter Tempeh (because Cams made it for me when I first visited him)

Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be? Ummm...I usually make cupcakes to impress the omnis, but from vw, I guess I'll have to say, vegan stuffed shells: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=7884.0 . My family and friends really like that dish...my non-tofu eating dad wanted to eat the filling by itself.

Favorite Halloween VegWeb recipe?  I don't really know, but a couple years ago, someone posted some severed fingers made out of shortbread.  Those looked pretty cool.

Favorite vegan Halloween candy?  I'm not a huge candy eater, but I do really like licorice

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet?  My mother's broccoli casserole...there's nothing like that bright orange velveeta cheese.

#1 Cooking secret/tip? Nooch and Bragg's makes everything better!!!

Best music to cook by? Usually podcasts...either "This American Life" or "Savage Lovecast."  I also like to cook to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young

Three people you'd most like to have dinner with?  My grandmother who died when I was 4 (She was a hip lady.  I bet she'd dig my vegan food), Camillus (hehe...you know), and John Muir (he was amazing and we have the same birthdate).

All time favorite restaurant? Rosetta's in Asheville

French fries or ice cream? French Fries with lots of mustard and ketchup

Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk?  Whatever's on sale...usually soy

Tempeh, tofu or seitan? Tempeh, tempeh, TEMPEH!
