This week's Superstar VegWebber is mirrya1! A fabulous person (with the cutest fur babies around...have you SEEN her profile: http://vegweb.com/index.php?action=profile;u=53776) who makes the VegWeb forums a great place to spend a (more than) little time. Her fur babies posts keep me entertained (and often enlightened!) and are some of my favorite to read, especially when I'm feeling sad. I know I'm not the only one so thank you very much for that, mirrya1! Oh, the one thing I do need to address is that she's never tried seitan! What do you do when you're not on VegWeb?  I work and go to school full-time.

One unique thing should know about you?  Hmmm..I'm 4 inches taller than my twin.  Is that unique enough?
What’s the best thing about being vegan? (if you are!)  The food!!

Favorite romantic recipe on VegWeb?  Happy Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies..you can't go wrong with chocolate chip cookies.

Favorite recipe on VegWeb to make for non-vegans to show them how amazing vegan food can be?  It's a tie between Lucid Anne's Lentil Rice salad or the Cheesy Bean and Cheese Enchiladas.

Any New Years' Resolutions?  A few.  To meditate daily, stop procrastinating on my homework and to keep in better touch with my friends and family.

One thing you wish you could make vegan but haven’t succeeded at yet?  Cheddar cheese jalapeno poppers.  I'll succeed one day.

#1 Cooking secret/tip?  Have fun and don't be afraid to experiment.  Some of my best meals have come from just throwing whatever I had on hand in a pot.

Best music to cook by?  Old school Michael Jackson...can we say Thriller!!

Three people you'd most like to have dinner with?  This is hard...but I'll stick with family.  My mother, my twin and my father (he passed away 23 years ago.)

All time favorite restaurant?  That depends on the food.  Green's in San Antonio for buffalo tofu and onion rings.  The Parlor in Austin for delicious vegan pizza and a place called Antonio's back in Michgan for guacamole.  Yum!

French fries or ice cream?  Coconut Milk ice cream.

Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk?  Either soy or rice milk.
Tempeh, tofu or seitan?  tofu..am I bad vegan if I say I've never had tempeh or seitan?
