Okay, try as I might, I can't make this giveaway mesh with the theme of the newsletter. No biggie, it's a totally awesome giveaway, so that more than makes up for it, right? Plus, free stuff is the best stuff! So, you know how finding a great vegan belt is impossible? Well, thanks to The Vegan Collection, it's not only possible, it's easy! They've created a line of gorgeous belts that make you feel like a million bucks. Or, at least keep your pants up. That's good too!
For a chance to win one of these fantastic pants-keeping-up belts, let me know what you're serving at your next dinner party.
Giveaway ends on Tuesday, March 1st at midnight, PST! Winner will be chosen at random! Must live in USA to win.
Good luck!
my next dinner party will be my special spagetti and tofurkey italian sausage with multi grain garlic bread, salad with poppy seed dressing and for desert tofu peanut butter tofu pie. . .totally vegan love!
I want to make that spinach and artichoke dip you mentioned in the newsletter! It sounds like yum.
When I do a vegan dinner party, I often make my crunchy, fried salt & pepper tofu with yum yum sauce (soy sauce mixed with toasted sesame oil and sriracha). This is served next to a bed of brown jasmine rice and a vinegary cucumber salad. I call this dish the 'conversion dish', b/c it can seriously cause for an omnivore or avid carnivore to think that they might be able to be a vegan or vegetarian. It's that good (smile)!
p.s. I love free belts;-)
Hmm a dinner party? I've never had one before....I'd probably be likely to do something easy like pasta with a yummy sauce, homemade french bread and maybe bruschetta for appetizers and tiramisu for dessert....yummo!
My dinner parties tend to have people just standing around mingling, so I will be serving items that you can pop in your mouth during conversation: vegan sushi made with brown rice, avocado, and this delicious seaweed salad I found at Costco, wrapped in nori, vegan puff ball pastries with mimicreme inside, and copious amounts of wine and beer- checked for vegan-ness at barnivore.com ;)b
hi - thanks for having this thread:) i love this.

Mernie is the winner! And it's only coincidence that she chose cheesy lasagna, i swear!!
