How do you get the smell of dog piss out of the house? Let me preface this question with an explanation: even though there are TWO people living here I seem to be the only one able to take the dog out to do her business. Is it really hard to put the dog on her chain for less than five minutes?????
Any way yeah, I'm trying to do this damn school report and I have dog piss all up in my nostrils. Help!
For the smell of dog piss, you need to neutralize. You should be able to find some pet enzyme cleaner (I use Nature Mir@cle's) at a pet shop, or in a pinch, liberal amounts of white vinegar will do it. Saturate the area, then let it dry on its own.
But obviously, the dog is going to keep pissing indoors if she's not let out as often as she should be. It sounds like your roommates are the ones who need training! ;)
I know for cat pee the vet gave us a recipe that used peroxide (sp?), baking soda and dish soap. That gets rid of cat urine stink so I'm sure it would work for dogs too. That combo stripped the paint of my desk too....it's strong stuff.
