OHHH so I spent the weekend in NYC and went to so many vegan restaurants in my Vegan Guide to nyc. My parents took me to Blossom and I ate Cape Cod cakes, a phyllo roulade with lentils, greens, and caramelized onions, and a chocolate ganache cake for dessert. amazingness.
I had a delicious spinach tofu quiche and chocolate pie at Linda's Organic Kitchen in Queens.
I ate Caribbean food for the first time at "D" Ital Shak in Brooklyn. I am now in love with Caribbean food. Wow. I mean, I probably liked my $5 lunch there as much as my $40 dinner at Blossom.
Then I had a slice of cake from Curly's Lunch. So sweet and satisfying.
This morning I had a yummy scone and not so great hot chocolate at Teany. But really, I can't complain. NY has so much amazing vegan food. I am a very, very lucky birthday girl. You all made it even better with all of your birthday wishes. thanks again :)
