MY SON TOOK HIS FIRST STEP TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

 I can't tell you how happy I am.  I have been so hoping that I would see it and I did, I was so afraid that he would do it at daycare and I wouldn't see it. Of course he may have done it at daycare and nobody noticed or told me.  But I am so happy!!!  I think I did see him take his first step.  Thinking back on it, I think it was an accident.  Lately he has been standing up without holding onto something a lot.  What I think he did was kind of fall forward, put his foot forward to catch himself, stood for another second then fell down on his butt.  I got all excited and he just looked at me like "what is with you?  You are all happy." Then I tried to encourage him to do it again, and he did, then he seemed to figure out that that was what made me happy, and then he stood up and did it a third time just to make me happy.  He is so wonderful!!!  I gave him lots of kisses.  THen he got distracted and started pushing a book across the carpet.  

I love being a mom, what a wonderful day, despite me spraining my ankle and me barely being able to walk myself, this makes it all worth it!
