All-Natural Strawberry/Hidden Veggie Smoothie

What you need:

2 tablespoons applesauce
1 1/2-2 cups strawberries
1 cup ice
1 cup green vegetables (I prefer mini cucumbers and occasionally broccoli)
1 chopped carrot
small handful blueberries
1/2 cup orange juice

What you do:

**You will need a blender for this recipe.**
Chop carrot and green vegetables into chunks no larger than your thumb.
Combine orange juice and vegetables in blender; blend until all the chunks are gone.
Add ice and blend until desired thickness is reached.
Cut up strawberries.
Add strawberries, applesauce and small handful of blueberries to mixture.
Blend until desired thickness is reached; some people prefer to have fruit chunks but that's up to your judgment.
If your smoothie is too thick, add a little more orange juice. if it's not thick enough, add more ice.
There are many possible variations of this recipe, sometimes I add a banana, kiwi, or extra carrot to the mix, but this is the basic recipe I follow.
I've found applesauce masks any hidden flavors of vegetables, so even the pickiest eaters won't have anything to complain about!
