Apples for the Fruit Deprived

What you need:

1 apple
1/2 cup sweetened soy milk
cinnamon
nutmeg

What you do:

Slice apple into wedges and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with spices. Bake for (sorry, I can't remember) whatever, until just golden at a moderate oven. Meanwhile, heat soy milk in microwave on high for 60-90 seconds. Once apples are done, lift off of pan and place in warm milk. Serve after an unenjoyable meal to get rid of the bad aftertaste.
Nutrition Information: About 130 calories per serving, depending on brand of milk and can be served as a dessert, especially if you are trying to stay healthy, because this is satisfying in an unexpected way.

I threw in some oat bran (a small handful) with the soymilk for a couple minutes, and then the apples, and that was really yummy.

Yum! This was really good as an afternoon snack. It was like a dessert but, healthier. I like now there is no added sugar and it is sweet on its own. I microwaved my apple slices for a minute with some cinnamon and then added the soymilk and microwaved it for another minute. Very warm too, perfect for autumn!

Oh, I just cube my apples and microwave them for two minutes.  They are cooked to perfection and hot enough to mix perfectly with the cold soymilk.

This is one of my favorite desserts, breakfasts, lunches, snacks...good for anything, really!  It is perfect for college students and I love how there is no sugar involved!
