Bishojo Burger

What you need:

1 sliced tomato
handful sliced mushrooms
handful sprouts
1/2 sliced haas avocado
handful romaine lettuce
1 or 2 vegan black bean burgers
2-4 slices whole wheat or pumpernickel bread
dressing, if desired (hummus works)

What you do:

The thing that makes this sandwich so good is the way you make the veggie burger. Whatever kind you use, try to grill, broil or use a convection or toaster iron. I guess George Foreman isn't totally useless. Wash and slice the veggies while it cooks. Just assemble the sandwich howe'ver you want, although I suggest putting the sprouts underneath stuff or they'll fall all over the place. My L-O friend adds Horizons organic vegan cheese to hers, or feta, so it doesn't *have* to be vegan.
(Bishojo in Japanese/Romanji means beautiful girls - referring to the fact that my roommate and I always eat these after the gym)
Enjoy!
