SO HOW'D IT GO?
Made this for Fat Tuesday. I added a chopped hot pepper and garlic to the stuffing and substituted a spicy brat for the Soyrizo. I sauteed the celery with the onions, garlic and brat in lieu of microwaving. Altogether, the perfect amount of stuffing for 4 large peppers. Awesome. So tasty. My omni boyfriend loved it. Even told me he thought it was one of the best meals I've made...and I cook a lot! Thank you so much for this recipe.
This recipe was AWESOME! My boyfriend who hates tomatoes, hates onions, hates peppers, and is a meat eater, LOVED it... he said he was super surprised and loved EVERYTHING about it! :-) I used diced fire roasted tomatoes in green chiles because that was all I had and it turned out really well. I also added a little chili powder, some cumin, garlic, and I doubled the cajun seasoning! REALLY AWESOME recipe though! Thanks!
:)>>> Soooo yummy!
these turned out really good. i added a full teaspoon of cajun seasoning and some garlic powder.
Cannot wait to try this; I've been waiting for a great vegetarian stuffed pepper recipe , New Orleans' style ! Sounds awesome !
