Delicious Stir-Fry Sauce

What you need: 

2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
pinch of ginger
1 or 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon tabasco or other hot pepper sauce
1 Tablespoon sherry

What you do: 

Mix everything together, and after stir-frying veggies or tofu reduce heat and add sauce. Stir for about 2 more minutes. Very easy, and delicious! A great way to add flavor to the simplest stirfry.

This recipe is the epitome of easy.  Totally rules for novice chefs making palatable meals.  I LOVE IT!!!!!

I can't believe that I never commented on this recipe!  I have been using it for YEARS pretty much weekly.  I have it memorized.  I make all kinds of different stir-fry's and they always have this sauce and they are always a hit with my 17 mo old son, with my omni parents, everyone.  It is a stable here at my home.  Sorry I didn't comment on it earlier.  In fact, I think this will be what is for dinner tonight, but I have always had it with tofu and I was thinking of trying it with seitan.  I wonder if that would be good?  Heck, never know until I try, right?
