No Bake Oatmeal Cookies

What you need: 

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup nondairy milk
1/4 cup vegan margarine
2 tablespoons cocoa
3 cups quick oats
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cups chopped walnuts

What you do: 

1. Combine vegan sugar, milk, margarine and cocoa in pan.
2. Heat until boiling, and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add oats, nuts and vanilla. Stir well.
3. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Will set up as they cool.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

Yum!  I definitely used less sugar, about a cup, a tad less margarine, and added a tablespoon of peanut butter.  I also used regular oats instead of quick oats and it turned out fine.  It made 20 thick cookies, hooray!  Thanks for posting!
