Raw Onion-Dill Bagels

What you need:

2/3 cup raw hulled sunflower seeds (I didn't soak)
1/3 cup raw golden flax seeds
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup fresh dill (or 3 tablespoons dried dill)
1/3 cup spelt berry rejuvelac
Pinch sea salt

What you do:

1) In a food processor, combine the sunflower seeds and golden flax seeds. Grind until a powder forms. Stir in the onion and dill and pulse until even. Stir in the rejuvelac and sea salt and pulse a few more times until a dough forms.
2) Roll the dough into golf-sized balls. Flatten and place onto dehydrator sheets or parchment paper. If you want the hole in the middle, use a bottle cap to cut out the center, and pressing inward, close the gap to a smaller hole around the wide circle.
3) Dehydrate overnight (approx. 6 hours, give or take depending on your appliance), and enjoy fresh warm crisp on the outside, soft on the inside bagels for breakfast!
Source of recipe: I wrote this recipe because, well what can i say sometimes a girl needs a bagel in her life.

Vbr this recipe was amazing! I didn't use rejuvelac, instead I used 1/3 cup water and added about 1 clove minced garlic to it. I'm also lazy so I didn't powder the flax first (didn't want to clean the coffee grinder), but they came out great. I wouldn't say its completely bagel like, but its definately good. Next time I'll try adding poppy seed and sesame seeds, I was always a fan of "everything" bagels!  :)>>>
