SO HOW'D IT GO?

Ok, I had to save my dinner so I found another sweet and sour sauce recipe on this website that did it.  I think the ingredients should read 1/4 c. vinegar, not 3/4 cup.  And adding water directly to the sauce and adding the corn starch until the sauce reaches the desired thickness helps a lot.  Enjoy! ;)b

This looks like it has the potential to be a great recipe.....and I'm sure it is if the sauce wasn't so vinegary.  Did I do something wrong?  I'm not much of a cook so I follow recipes exactly.  Somehow the sauce came out way to gloppy/thick and was too vinegary.  Could the person who submitted it check the amounts again?

I added red peppers and onions to the carrots and broccoli to give it some variety and color and it is beautiful.  I just wish the sauce came out right because if it had, this would be one of my all time favorites.  And it is very quick and easy to do and also all the veggies makes it very, very healthy!
