So Good, Almost No Fat Pie (or Cheesecake) Crust!!
What you need:
*This was requested by someone on here a few months ago who asked for a way to make pie crust when you're out of flour. 2 cups cereal, ground to a breadcrumb-like consistency in blender
1 tablespoon vegan margarine
3 tablespoons applesauce (you could use extra margarine for this, i guess)
1/4- 1/3 cup sugar
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
What you do:
Grind the cereal in blender. Melt margarine, stir into applesauce. add sugar and cinnamon, then add to cereal. Press into a 9x9 pie pan. Fill with Pie ingredients, bake for about 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Enjoy!

SO HOW'D IT GO?
Is the cereal to be measured before it is ground up? or is 2 cups the amount of ground cereal needed?
Also, if your cereal is fortified with extra vitamins, it may be worth looking into the source of those ingredients. I guess added D3 is often derived from sheep's wool. ???
ooo good idea! i always feel so bad about pie crusts because there's so much fat. yay for better pie crust!
