I pretty much made this my own.... I saw the recipe and wanted to try it tonight, and since I didn't have any Laksa paste I subbed red thai curry paste for it.
I forgot to mention that you didn't say any temp for the oven for the tofu balls... so I just did 350 - it took about 22 minutes til they were done to my liking.
This was tasty! Thanks for sharing. I used onion, carrot, broccoli and bok choy for my veggies. And I added dried crushed chilies instead of cayenne pepper, and no paprika.
These are great even though I didn't add the baking powder because I didn't notice your comment until after they were in the oven! Oh well... it worked out great anyway. Thanks!
This recipe is definitely a keeper! YUM! Instead of roasting the veggies, I just sauteed them... carrots, broccoli, red onion, red bells, and zucchini! And I added a ton more garlic!
OH! this sauce is deeee-lish. I was searching recipes AFTER I already started sauteeing my brussells, so I served the sauce over sauteed ones instead, but I'd still say its yummy, yum, yum! ;)
This is the best pot pie recipe. We loved it. Next time I might add maybe some salt to the pie crust, it was slightly bland by itself. But mixed with the veggies and sauce it was great.
I just made this again and I added the cider vinegar, salt and baking powder to the crust (as suggested in the above comment by A.G.Pym) and it turned out great! Thanks for the recommendation.
This was divine! we loved it so much! and it was So easy to make too! I followed the recipe pretty much exact - but just noticed I forgot the paprika. And I didn't have any cheeze.
