Honestly, I've got nothing in mind and no meet up to propose, but I thought I'd get a topic started and at least find out how many VegWeb freaks are in this great state-o-mine.
So...
Hello?
I'm not in Ohio, and I don't know anyone in Ohio, BUT I think YOU should be in San Fran. on August 8th! Bring the fam. :)
If only... Man, imagine a potluck where you could actulally eat everything there...
Oh, wait. Y'all won't have to imagine. Hrmph.
I live just north of Cincinnati. I am one of those "non-posters" but would enjoy meeting other vegweb folks if you plan something.
Ohio is closer than every other event for me, tho it is 300+ miles and I have to go through Indiana to get there.... well, I guess it isn't impossible... i need a vacation...
I hope that you do think of something, and that it's a blast!
I lived in Ohio most of my life...moved away when I was 25. I'm going back for my HS reunion this fall! :o
Cleveland, Kent, Columbus
Cool to know there are people around and interested.
Fall sounds like something maybe.... I need to think about this a bit.

I'm in Missouri but Ohio isn't that far :)
Cleveland, Ohio resident here. Not a big fan, but I've lived my whole life in NEO and know nothing else... My grandparents reside in North Canton, Ohio. Me and the fiance want to move there.
Test idea:
Anyone familiar witht he Hocking Hills region? Specifically Old Man's Cave?
http://www.oldmanscave.net/old_man's_cave.htm
It is a beautiful area, and Old MAn's Cave is a wonderfule 1 mile hike. There is a pavillion/picnic tabnles area that can be reserved. The area is gorgeous and full of reasons to visit, plenty of places to stay if necessary (from bed and breakfasts, camping, cabin rental, hotels, motels)...
What about a central/southern Ohio vegan cookout?
I would think September to be a good time.
Just throwing it out there - thoughts and/or opinions?
Central I might be able to make, but if we're talking more southern... it's just not going to happen (for me that is). Especailly with gas prices going up again. Keep me posted though! It'd be nice to meet other vegans.

Oh GAAAAAWD! I looooove Hocking Hills! Went down there last year--had the time of my life! I'm in southern Michigan--so I'm pretty close to Toledo/Bowling Green. I would be into meeting up at some point!
I'm far far away from Ohio, but everytime I see this thread, Neil Young gets stuck in my head. hehe. ;)
Just joined the site... I live on east side of Cincinnati and would love to do some sort of potluck in Ohio ;)b. Please let me know how I can help plan if necessary.
Yo! I'll be back in Ohio September 2! I go to school in Athens and am from Cinci, so (unfortunately ;) ) I know it all fairly well. I think Hocking Hills is close to OU? I could be wrong, though!
UPDATEL
Well, not much of one at the moment.
Wife and I are starting to feel human again as tiny herbavore number 2 gets better at sleeping. I hope to try and get more organized here, and get something together.
I'm from chillicothe Ohio, but i currently live in ky, about 4 hours away from chillicothe, 2 from cincinatti.
I live about 45 minutes away from Columbus and know 2 vegans. :-\
