I went to my senior prom last year and had a goodish time.  My friends and I went to this kick-ass thai place, and then got ridiculously high and puttered around in a park for a long time.  We ended up entering prom 30 minutes before it was over, and I was not functioning well enough to dance.  What made the prom fun was watching everybody and their brother get busted for being intoxicated and be sent away in police cars. (150 people in all. Just imagine slutty little girls stumbling around in their dresses screaming into their cell phones for their daddies)  I guess it doesnt sound too funny--but I was messed up too and nobody arrested me lol.

I also went to some prom this year, because a high school guy from work couldn't find a date and invited me.  I had a great (sober) time!  I love dancing though, and the strangers I was with were really fun.
