Celebrating the yabbit and the yabbitman (NVR)

Tomorrow is our 24th WA so we are celebrating today because tomorrow is my busy day of the week. I love where we're going, it's the restaurant of a beautiful hotel AND they now have vegetarian/vegan food on the menu!
We are going out for a special meal today so I am currently wearing a long wool skirt in a muted purple plaid (prettier than it sounds), black tights and shoes, pale lilac blouse and my heavy amethyst pendant and earrings. Yup, purple is my favourite colour. I even went and had my hair styled.
I feel beautiful.
(Note: the wine was very special, very good...like raspberry/strawberry/currant all mixed together. Haute cuisine at its finest.)

Today is the actual WA day, the 20th, and it has RAINED all day. Proper, turn-off-the-computer, no-satellite-TV-signal rain. What more could I ask. Most of my students have not come to class (traffic is impossible here when it really rains) but I needed some time off with my sweetie anyway.
What a lovely, lovely couple of days. I really appreciate the good vibes from the Veggies too!
