The Fest

Is anyone else from vw going? For those who don't know (which is probably most of you, 'cause you're hippies ;)), the Fest is a music (mostly punk/indie) festival in Gainesville. This year it's halloween weekend. I'm defending my thesis the Tuesday before I leave for it. It will be amazing.
P.S. I know this is an event; but as it isn't a vegan event, I didn't put it in the Events section. Feel free to move it if you deem that appropriate.
These are the only bands I'd want to see:
Ampere, comadre, daniel striped tiger, forensics, pink razors, sinaloa, the holy mountain.
Considering I've already seen 5 of the 7 listed, I won't be making the trip out. Should be a good time for the locals though!
The fest in Florida? I thought it got canceled...nevermind, I see it's still happening.
It doesn't really matter, I wouldn't have been able to go. I have to count inventory that whole weekend.
That's ok though, some of those bands are stopping here on their way to the fest, I'm gonna try to make it out to that, but I doubt I will go because of inventory.
In either case, Have Heart, Blacklisted, Cermony, and Swamp Thing will be here on the 22nd, and I'm definitely going to that.
Then Bane, Cruel Hand, and Energy in November and my buddies in Shai Hulud in December (with a bunch of bands that I have never heard of).
;)b
the holy mountain.
I really want to see this band. Don't they throw pizza at the crowd or something?

If this is true, that's awesome.
The Bouncing Souls are pretty much my favorite band, so I've seen them 8 or 9 times, but I still can't wait to see them again. I wish American Steel was playing again, but you can't have everything.
I don't know the Holy Mountain that well; but if they are named after the movie, they're awesome. That is the craziest movie I've ever seen.

Pretty sure that's where they got their name.
The Bouncing Souls rule hard, but it's been years since I have seen them. :(
i wanted to go, but can't because it's too far/i work/can't afford it. i was super excited because atom and his package are playing, and i had no idea bouncing souls were because they are fucking amazing (saw them in pittsburgh and it ruled) and also my exboyfriend's band is playing. they're called the blacklist royals so if you go you should check them out.
yeah, weird maybe, but we're still friends and he is an amazing songwriter.
yeah, i'm really stoked about Atom playing. I saw him play in auburn in 2000 at a house show and it was rad. I also saw his new band, Armalite, at last years Fest--also amazing. They're playing this year, too. So are Ann Beretta, Strike Anywhere, Lemuria, None More Black, Paint It Black, Dead To Me, The Larry Arms, D4, Fake Problems, etc.
So...much...awesomeness...<excitement seizure>

It is.
