Greetings from Thailand!!!!

I'm killing some time before going out for the evening. It's 5pm Saturday night here, but 5AM back home in Florida.
I'm having an amazing time. Unfortunately, as you might have heard there has been some civil unrest in Bangkok, fortunately the worst of which occurred while I was in the North Country. I'm now south in the resort town of Phuket, which is a great place, but I'm stuck. I'm supposed to leave tomorrow from Bangkok, but that's off limits. It's going to take until Tuesday to get out, but it could be so much worse.
Anyway, just wanted to check in. It's been the trip of a lfietime and I'll never forget the wonderful gracious people and the good times.
Thailand.....Aaaaahhhh. I love the country, the people, the temples and food.

I'm glad you're having a great time.
So glad you are in a safer area. It's hard to even comment on the events in Mumbai. They are beyond horrible.
I've heard about the blockage of airports. I am glad that you are safe. How long will you be staying in Thailand?

I'm home, took me over 48 hours to get home, but I'm home. Still no regrets. I hope to have some pictures up in the next few days.
