CeltKat has had hers for several days now and I'm yet to get mine. Is anyone else out there still waiting? I'm not sure whether or not I need to contact them... :-\
I received mine 4-5 days ago.
i wanna know who won the veggie awards!!! can anyone tell me? I couldnt find the winners on the website. I know that spiral diner won for best restaurant, but i was curious as to the others.
ha ha - funny thing. I sent them a cheque for a subscription, but it had to be in us funds, so it didn't work! I guess I'll just do it online, although I don't have a credit card (my dad does). it's frustrating because I've missed a few issues! ARG!
i'm a little confused about this magazine. i haven't read it, but i've glanced over the cover in my local bookstore. is it aimed at vegetarians or vegans or both?
hey bookmama, i'm in the same boat as you. still waiting for mine.
Bookmama, mine came 2 days ago. Hope yours comes soon!
Lime Green, it's aimed at vegans! The recipes are all vegan and there's no Kraft Cheese ads... I noticed even the ads for food companies that sell both vegan and vegetarian options show only the vegan options in their ads. I read mine cover to cover, including the ads, to keep an eye out for new products and places to visit. I am so impressed by the morals of the VegNews publishers. It's worth every penny knowing you're supporting this kind of company, and the magazine is just amazing!
It's an awesome magazine!!!
I too am waiting for mine in the mail. I went to the Central Florida Veg Fest and the Veg Society had it on their table. I so wanted to look through it myself. I guess patience is key...sigh..

It's aimed at Vegans, unlike Vegetarian Times. Both are good magazines, but for Vegans VegNews is hands down the better. It focuses on animal rights as well as food, the total vegan experience.
It's quite a good magazine. I've only read the last two issues and I'm not vegan, but am considering a subscription.
It wasn't on the newstand yesterday when I checked at Borders, they still had the old one, the fashion issue.
I just checked the mail and it was there but the cover is all torn up.... I'm hoping no pages are missing!!!

I got mine late last week with 4 days worth of mail. I think it actually arrived at the post office sooner, but mail delivery was off due to the wild fires.
man - I want that magazine! I think I'll just ask for a subscription for christmas...

Yes, thank you for taking the time to type and post for us all. I was curious to see if any of my picks had won...
Does anyone here email to win the VegPicks from every issue?
I have send a few emails, but I don't know what the procedure is.
A few months ago I even wrote in to ask exactly what I need to write in with and recieved no response. :-\

Which contest are you referring to, the drawing you were automatically entered into when you cast your 2007 Veggie Awards votes, or was there another contest I missed? I'm a newer VegNews reader ...
