So, I watched that video a long time ago and thankfully I buried it deep in my subconscience until my brother was on the computer looking at that 2 Girls 1 Cup foolishness. I told him it was fake and if he wanted to see something gross that was real, he should see the Mr. Hands video.
That's the preface to the question so now I'lll get to the point. What should happen to people who practice bestiality? Clearly they have some horrible psychological problem, but since animal abuse punishments are pretty lax in the US I wonder what happens to these people. And I refuse to believe that people who have sex with animals are perfectly normal people with no issues at all and this is just an expression of their sexuality.

Well in MI the freaks go to jail. There've been several incidences in the last few years of men getting caught with sheep. Always made me proud to be from there....I hope the sarcasm is plain to see.

The documentary centers around their group and the events with tons of interviews. It's kind of disturbing, but really informative. it gives you a look into their world.

I was more asking what happens to these people as far as punishment/ therapy. I wonder if they just throw them in prison only to get out and abuse other animals since its pretty hard to keep humans away from animals if no one is watching over them. Or do they have some sort of therapy to help curb their want to have sex with animals. Are they treated like animal abusers or what, since it happens and there do seem to be people who don't think anything wrong with it. But it is abuse.. so what happens if they are caught. And I don't want a debate, I want a disscussion or an answer to my question. I'd be open to other peoples opinons on the matter.
And the Zoo movie is about the Mr. Hands guy.

My guess is it would probably be an animal cruelty charge of some kind. They touched on it a little bit in 'Zoo', but I don't recall exactly what the charges would be. The laws vary from state to state, but I"m sure they'd get jailtime if convicted. I don't think they lock them up and throw away the key though. Even child molesters get out after a couple years.
Asking my original questions made me think about this... Do any of you cosider zoophilia a natural aspect of human sexuality or do you think there is an illness in the person that would make the person attracted to an animal? And do you think they should be punished at all?
And would any of you consider it animal abuse?
I'm a pretty open person (I'd like to think), but when it comes to animals, I have no tolerance to abuse of any kind and I consider this. Basically, doing something sexual to a living being that didn't give you consent or cannot for whatever reason is just wrong to me. Animal or human. It just doesn't seem natural to even be attracted to something of a different species, but apparently it happens, so...
Any sex act that is performed without consent on both sides is abuse. So yes, it is abusive because an animal can't consent. I translated a book on abuse and its effects on children and the authors said that any act that made the victim feel ashamed, degraded etc. also counts as abuse, even if it doesn't involve actual touching etc.--such as being forced to watch porn videos or whatever.
And it is illegal everywhere I can think of. In most places it will get the person sent up for psychiatric evaluation as well.

This doesn't answer what "should" happen to these people -but last month a couple in Tulsa were charged with felony crimes against nature for making bestiality films. I just want to know why it had to be over 30 pound to be considered "okay", but under 30 pounds would be wrong?
