So, I was just thinking, wouldn't it be awesome to have the decor in each room of your house be inspired by a food? Like, I was cutting up eggplant today, making my accidental eggplant chips, and I though, wow, this eggplant looks so pretty against this green plate! I would love to have a room inspired entirely by eggplant colors. And then I thought there could be ones inspired by mangoes and apples and sweet potatoes and pretty much any other pretty food.
Hey, a friend of mine made these really awesome mosaics of all her food pictures based on color. THIS is what I mean:

i am still thinking about it. i mean, it would cost money and i hate spending money, also, whenever i move out (who knows when this will be) i will have to paint it back.

I have two questions that I actually want answered...so don't get too aimless.
1. Has anyone else ever played Donkey Konga or Donkey Konga 2 on gamecube??? It's my absolute favorite game from any system...I just want to chat with a fellow donkey konga-er.
2. What's with the front page vegweb friends pictures? Is it like the side panel food pictures..where they are different ones for people? Or does everyone see the same front page avatars at certain times? What makes it so that an avatar will be displayed on the front page? Mine was there continuously for weeks..but I didn't know if it was just b/c it was me...so I could see it..or what. It's not there anymore though. Splain this to me.

Donkey Kong or Donkey Konga? You need to play Donkey Konga...it's so much better than Guitar Hero! You have these bongos..and play a long with different songs.
I think I've seen your picture on there before....not often though...so it can't be the pretty thing. ^-^

My living room and dining room are "peanut butter", Kitchen is "lightly lemon", bathroom is "hint of mint". My bedroom is "dark cream" (sorry, not vegan :P) and guest room #1 is "mellow margarita". Though I am painting my upstairs (study and guest room #2) more of a sea foam, the colors I picked were very food oriented.

Don't fall asleep! I did that once boiling macaroni, I woke up four hours later to a house full of smoldering pasta smoke. It took many weeks for the smell to go away

I think to have your pic in the vegfriends area you have to be a "subscriber". I'm not, and have never seen my profile there, so maybe that's the reason. I'm not an official VegFriend. :'(
As for the food pics on the side, it has to do with when we are online.

I did that with ramen noodles once, which you'd think would be hard to do since they only boil about 2 minutes! Terrible smell and destroyed my soup pan.

whenever i come on at home, i'm always the first profile shown! I hate it!
if i look at vegweb from another computer and im not signed in, my profile is not there. it must have to do with if you are signed on or not?

Naw, that can't be because my pic has been up everytime that I've looked at the main page. I usually go directly to the forums page because that's what I have bookmarked on my work computer. I go to the main page with my home computer but during the work week I don't visit in the evenings/night.
I ain't one of the prettiest by a long shot. :-D
Toally topic change--but it's on my brain!
So I make pancakes once or twice a week--i love them so much, there are yummy and a nice change from oatmeal--today I just could not make them right! I think I put in too much soy milk--they didn't seem runny--but they would not cook up--tey would just burn on the outside and stay mushy in the inside and when I would try to flip them they would just fall apart--I only ended up getting one out of the whole batch and it really sucked! I'm so cranky--my breakfast is my pre-workout meal--so now I'm going to have a shitty work out :( *WAAAAAAA*

I am not a subscriber either but mine was there for the last 2 months and now is gone...I guess the same thing that has happened with ac. Actually it disappeared when I changed my avatar..hmmm.
