sooo thank you to the lovely, as yet anonymous, person who sent me my package! bf sent a message that says it is at the apt and in the fridge (i can't imagine how he didn't open it...but good on him ;))
i am so so so excited to go home and seeee!
so i will post tomorrow with formal thank yous. although my hunch is that it's AC since she sent hers so early. or maybe not!

I'm guessing bp told you, but I will only be at my current address for a week longer. That's it. There is no forwarding of mail. Do not pass GO, do not collect vegan cookies.
So, please please please do not mail anything to my Philly address after, say, this Friday. Otherwise, it will most certainly be lost. If that's not enough time, I can provide an alternative address later. Problem is that I am currently homeless for the next step of my life and my future address has yet to be determined.

I woke up today to a postal carrier at my door with my swap package--what a way to wake up!! I'm so excited! (I would take a picture, but I can't locate the cord to my camera, and I have no photo software on my laptop like I had on my old one. Sorry.) The package contents are as follows:
butterscotch extract (yay! No, I hadn't bought any yet online; I'm a slacker. Thanks so much! I can't wait to use this. Don't sweat the delay--this was definitely worth it!)
homemade Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies from VWAV (This was the first thing I busted into. Oddly enough, I've never made this recipe; they're fantastically soft, chocolaty, and delicious!)
homemade Luscious Coconut Bread from Vegweb (I think I'm going to try your idea of the french toast. I usually use this recipe: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=5163.msg67790#msg67790. Do you think this would be ok, or do you have another recipe that you recommend?)
homemade Tamari Roasted Nuts & Seeds from ExtraVeganZa (This was the second thing I tried and super tasty, great for the munchies! I just recently added this cookbook to my "buy" list.)
loose tea in black mango and blood orange (These sound grand, and I can't wait to try a cup.)

Secondbase is so amazing that he even wrapped everything with beautiful silvery paper and ribbons. (Sorry, Allychristine. I guess decorations aren't my thing. I didn't even think of them.) Everything was packed awesomely and arrived perfectly.
