does anyone know if the plastic that is from cassette (music) tapes is at all recyclable? i know most places only recycle #1 and 2 plastics (if even that!). we are doing some renovations and cleaning out, and i hate to throw it all out! im talking about the outside plastic container.
also,
does anyone know of an organization that takes used school supplies for donations? does the salvation army/goodwill send them off or do they just get junked? (like paper, binders, used pencils, etc) i live in a small town, so we dont have alot of usually urban-type organizations around here.
thanks y'all.
i hate throwing things "out".
You should join your local Freecycle group! I love it! I am a teacher and have received numerous items like pencils, paint, magazines, etc.....
You can post stuff to get rid of (someone comes to get it) and you can also request items you need, as well as respond to other items that people are getting rid of. I have hardly thrown anything away since joining-and I've received tons of free stuff! Even a guitar case for my husband. People even came and picked up my ugly old 70's light fixtures.
