Oh, I thought you were going to talk about a storm you had. I love storms. I miss the storm that came through in Missouri. Now those were some storms! They just don't get those violent stoms up on New York or down here in Texas. BORING!
I had a friend of mine brag about a storm they got here, she said "ya, a big Texas sized storm!"
Just to let you know, I am so SICK of hearing about how everything is "bigger in Texas" because it is soooooo NOT true.
I was quick to correct her and say, that that storm was nothing, Missouri gets much more violent storms than that! Probably shouldn't have said that, but when you hear the same lie over and over and over again you get sick of hearing it. I just want to yell, if you ever got your ass out of Texas you would see that Texas is absolutely no big deal.
I hate Texas! But I think I have said that before! ::)

I got my nickname, Storm, because of Texas storms! I went to Texas A&M (Galveston Campus) and my roomie dubbed me "Storm" because she said my whole demeanor changed when there were storms over the bay. Interestingly, the elders at my lodge gave me the name Storm Cloud.

You'd probably hate the Texas Panhandle (Lubbock, Amarillo, Pampa, etc.) even more. But that's where the worst Texas storms are. A few years ago, my Dad got pelted with baseball size hail which gave his red truck a dimpled seedless strawberry look. A 30 mph wind in Lubbock is normal. A 75 mph wind is a small storm. ;D

I was born in Amarillo, and have always had family there..and Pampa. Pampa is my least favorite place that I have ever been in the world. (not that I've been to many places in the world..), but that tornado that 'hit' Pampa destroyed some of my familiy's...stuff, I think. I try to block all that out.
Oh, and my childhood (until 1 year ago....) home in Wichita Falls was built right after the tornado of '79. We had an underground cellar in the back..but never used it. I don't think it's been cleaned..in..years and years..ew. The only house that "weathered" the tornado and was still standing was the house next door to ours..and it's the only non-brick home...
Still :)>>> your picture, Storm!

You know what else is great about Storm? She makes the best cookies! She sent me some over finals a couple semesters ago--they were so good and she sent so many that I was able to freeze a batch and dole them out one at a time for like 2 months!!!
So she's HOT! And knows how to bake! Are you single by any chance--buecause you know I'm not having any luck with men right now, maybe you and me... >:D ;)b ;D
