Are leggings pants? I been wondering this for a while and I think I look fine when I do wear them as such, but I'm afraid I might look like a fool.
I usually pair black capri leggings with a black or other dark colored t-shirt and ballet flats. I have sort of a small athletic body type so its not like anything is gratuitous if you get what I mean. \
So what do y'all think?
IMO, leggings qualify as pants. I certainly wear them as such.
as long as they aren't see through you can wear them as pants, but i usually see leggings worn with long shirts or dresses.
I think so, but it probably depends on who you ask. Back in the 80's, leggings were all the rage and were worn alone as pants. Nowadays, I see them more often than not, paired with other things, like under a skirt or dress.
hell yeah, in the 80s all i wore was stretchy shorts and XL t-shirts. i know, hott.
Sounds fine to me! I like wearing leggings too--but I get embarrased in public, I worry people will think my legs are too fat for them *I swear it's all muscle!!*
Yeah think it's fine as long as a) they fit you and b) they're pretty thick. But I do like seeing people wearing them with long tops and stuff, that looks good too and is a nice transition. I imagine it makes you feel pretty exposed at first!
