update on my mom....

I just wanted to post this, and share this with all of you that have inquired, and asked me about this over the several months since I revealed on this board that my Mom was sick. My Mom passed away late last night. My brothers and I were able to make it here to Florida and be at her side, which I am so thankful for. I think it meant a great to deal to her, that we were there (as it did for my brothers and I as well). Thanks to all of you that have offered kind words of support for my Mom, and for me over the last several months.....I did hear them, and they meant a lot to me.

I haven't had much computer time lately and just read your post. I am so very sorry about your loss. I know how very special your mom was to you.
I am also glad your mom got to share in the joy of you doing your recent tour and that you were home and by her side at the time of her passing. She was very blessed to have you as a son. Someone with a kind and caring soul that she could be proud of.
I hope you can find comfort that many people on this board care a great deal about you and share your pain.
Now there is another angel looking down at you.

I just wanted to take a quick moment and say thanks again to all of you that posted your kind wishes for myself and my family. This afternoon is my Mom's funeral. There's a lot of family and friends here in NY to pay their respects, which does make it a bit easier. Reading these posts again (and seeing the new ones) helps as well. Thanks for caring.
