Are you all dressing up for Halloween? If so, what will you be?
I think I am going to go as a French maid.....
Extra points if your costume is veg-related! ;D
Some year (when I actually leave the house after 8 p.m. ::)) DH and I are going as Mickey and Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers. I've got my accent down and everything. ;D

if i actually go out (i'm with mdvegan on this one, kind of sad... i need to live up my last few months of college...) i am going to be a ninja turtle. i know, origional, but one of my roomies wants me to be one with her and i can be leonardo...since he was named after a vegan (or, wait... vegetarian? whatever...)
I'm dressing up as the cranky vegan b!tch that lives at the end of the cul-de-sac.
That's not really a "costume" for me, though. Oh well.

Also, now I am going out for Halloween festivities tomorrow, but I just found out last night... I need a costume now! Aaaaaah. I suck so bad at pulling together last-minute costumes!
I'm not dressing up, but I'm anxious to see pictures of all these great costumes! Will you please post yourselves in them after the big night? Pleeeeeease?? :'( The troll is already cracking me up. I couldn't do it, walking around all naked and jeweled with big turquoise troll hair.
We had our Halloween party tonight - I went as a sexy vampire - but I put on so much eyeliner and lipstick and shadow that I just went as a vampire hooker. DH was a vampire also - a pimp vampire.
ha ha, sorry to disappoint you all but my roommate got me a costume (after i decided i didn't want to waste money on the nonsense at the store last night). i was wondering about how to do a "good" treasure troll (it seems like you really have to do it 100% or it isn't worth it).
but in the end my roommate is going to be a witch and i, her trusty black cat. i'm so lame!
I'm sure you'll make a very cute cat, but can you please at least be half troll and do the hair??? It would be sooo cute! :-\ OK OK... just be a kitty then.
i'm thinking of going as a fisherman being attacked by fish. i don't want to buy anything fancy, and i kinda latched on to this idea of making attack fish out of old socks with paper plate fins and those little vampire teeth they sell for kids poking through the mouth.
i think my friend wants me to go as something a little more alluring (or at least recognizable), but F it. i like my homage to fish revenge.
I ended up going out last night as an '80s aerobics instructor! I had all these old clothes from when I was younger, as well as some old stuff from my mom, so it was so easy (and FREE!) to pull together. So, so fun to get dressed up like that, too... I also teased by bangs for probably 20 minutes, and shellacked them with hairspray. This morning I look like Flock of Seagulls. ??? ;D I love Halloween so much!

I had a guy come into the store on saturday night dressed as a flasher. Complete with long trenchcoat, flesh colored body suit, faux penis and gnarly pubic hair. Not sure why he felt the need to share that last part although it was hilarious.

We don't have Halloween in Spain, they do Nov 1 as a sort of Memorial Day (All Saints). So I will be my regular old self kicking back in my warm sweatsuit, as autumn arrived by express delivery this morning! Tomorrow is a holiday, of course, so I have an invitation for lunch at my SIL's and veg*n tea in the afternoon with one of my students.

OMG! :o This is going to make me sound like such a lush (I promise I'm not!), but when I read your post just now, I had a flashback to the bars on Saturday night, and I saw this same costume!!! I had completely forgotten about it! This guy was walking around on the dance floor all night flashing unsuspecting people! I remember my arm...um, accidentally brushing against the faux penis, and I felt violated. ::) Funny costume, though!

Wife and I are going to a costume party this weekend. The theme is "video game characters". So, I'm getting a light blue t-shirt and a sign that says "BARF!" (I'm a "Generic Dude" from River City Ransom!) and my wife will be dressing peasant-ish with a sign that says, "Would youlike a room? It's 50GP a night." (she's an inn keeper from almost any RPG ever...)
