Burrizzas
One 12" pizza crust, pre-baked (in a pinch, you can use two 9" tortilla wraps)
1 cup refried beans
3/4 cup salsa
3/4 cup guacamole
1/2 cup sour "cream" (I use a tahini-miso-garlic-lemon-herb "cream")
1/2 cup vegan "cheese" of choice (optional)
1 tablespoon vegan Parmesan "cheese" (optional)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
Assorted pizza-topping veggies of choice (green and red peppers are my favorite)
1) Spread the refried beans on the baked pizza crust (or tortillas that have been baked for less than 5 minutes). Spread the guacamole on top of the beans. Spoon the salsa onto the guacamole. Drizzle the sour "cream" over the pizza and sprinkle the dried peppers and basil. Finally, top with your pizza veggies of choice. If using fake cheeses, top the pizza with them now. Broil the pizza for 5 minutes.
Note: I pre-bake the pizza crust so that it is ready to go and then I just have to broil the toppings. Guacamole goes brown if cooked for too long.
Source of recipe: My partner loves both burritos and pizza, so I combined the two and created "Burrizzas"!
SO HOW'D IT GO?
Do you have a recipe for the "tahini garlic lemony cream"? or is it just what it says 'cause I can do that- I do not care for the taste vegan sour creams or cheezes
I also don't like vegan sour cream or cheeses, so I usually create my own "cream" sauce to replace them.
My basic cream sauce is (enough for this recipe):
2 tablespoons tahini, 1 tablespoon white miso paste, 2 tablespoons water, 1-3 cloves of garlic (depending on how garlic-y I am feeling), 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and then roughly a teaspoon of some dried parsley, chives, basil, or red pepper flakes (depending on what the "cream" is being used with). You can play with the ratios to make it more creamy, salty, etc.
