Baked Pear Recipe
2 pears, cored
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup fruit juice (orange, apple, pineapple, raspberry, cranberry)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons walnut pieces
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place cored pears in a baking dish with sides.
2. Mix together the wine, juice, syrup and spices in a small bowl. You can also sprinkle a bit of the spices right onto the pears. Pour the liquid over the pears and put them into an oven.
3. Take the pears out after about 10 minutes and spoon some liquid over the tops to make sure they don't dry out. Add the walnuts, and put the dish back in the oven for another 10 minutes, or until the pears are soft.

SO HOW'D IT GO?
Having fruit left from brandied pear recipe, I searched and found your yummy dish, which I doubled, using a nice Merlot/Cab wine and orange juice...shades of Sangria! Enjoyed your video too...thanks!
Really good! Next time I would sprinkle a little brown sugar on top, to make it caramelize.
