The Publix (grocery) where I sometimes shop, always has a policeman at the door. Today, when I went inside, I heard a lady telling him that there was a truck outside with the windows up and dogs inside.
When she finished talking to the policeman, I told her that I overheard what she said and thanked her.
A few minutes later the policeman came up to her and said that he went outside to check, and the truck was running.
It made me so happy that the lady wasn't afraid to tell the policeman about the dogs, but also that the owners were smart enough to leave the vehicle running if they had to leave the dogs in there.

I'm glad the doggies are OK and that people are willing to look to their well being!
That's good that they were ok.
I probably would have left a note under their windscreen wipers thanking them for leaving the AC on for the dogs...decent pet owners are so hard to come by over here...
