I asked a boy out!

Today, for the first time in my life, I asked a boy out. Hes in my math class and I was scared stiff. But I did it any ways...we are going to a dog expo tomorrow...haha...cause why not....ermm... okay...

What a fun date idea! Animals 'n a boy.
I know its a silly destination, but it was easy cause all I had to say is "my friend and her BF are going to this thing....wondered if you would come with us....bla bla bla...." then he asked me to carve pumpkins with him...but later retracted it cause his family didnt want anyone else there...opps. No biggie...Its the thought that counts ;)

I made it a goal. Then I told people my goal so I would be held accountable. It worked!

Alas, he is married. Le sigh.
So he's got me wondering why his family "didn't want anyone else there" to carve pumpkins! Were they going to do a ritual sacrifice first, or what? (Nah, for that they would have invited you. You would have been the guest of honour.) But it does give one furiously to think. Porno pumpkins, or "carve your most hated celebrity", or what?

Of course, it may just be that he suddenly realised he'd invited you to meet his parents as a second date, which I am assuming adds a lot of pressure to a second date.

actually, this could be it...I know he's the oldest of five, so with so many kids i bet it is hard to get good "family time" and I assumed that was the reason...dunno....but i bought a pumpkin as soon as he invited me,so now i have to carve pumpkin all alone :(

Someday I'm going to buy this software: Me On A Pumpkin. You download a picture (for my friends, it'll be of a musician) and it'll create a pumpkin pattern for you that really looks good.
We went and I had a good time...glad i asked and glad he said yes. Now we are texting back and forth pictures of the jack-o-lanterns we made (not together)
I'm the most socially awkward person ever. When he left he shook Zoe's hand and he BFs and then shifted and shook mine...when he left Zoe adn Red were like "wow that was harsh Zeal, he leaned in to give you a hug and you practically karate chopped him with your handshake...." and i realized they were right! I was just so nervous I ....stuck my hand out...IDK....arg. lol!
