Cocoa-Hazelnut Spread

What you need:

1 tablespoons roasted hazelnut butter
1 teaspoon cocoa
maple syrup or agave nectar to taste (1 teaspoon or so)

What you do:

Mix it all together!
I haven't found anything like this on vegweb, and decided it's a tasty enough discovery to share. My experiments involving soy milk ended in disgusting messes, but I really think this tastes better than I remember Nutella.

SO HOW'D IT GO?

i think i may have seen it at whole foods but im not sure.. you can probably make your own if you have a food processor and some roasted hazelnuts.  theres also recipes in veganomicon and the joy of vegan baking for nutella type spreads.. i know the jovb one says you can use any kind of nut butter - even peanut.

If you can find whole hazelnuts, you can try the recipe found here: http://www.sugoodsweets.com/blog/2005/12/nutella/

I made it once and it was fantastic, but a lot of work.

Do they sell hazelnut spread at most natural food stores? I just got online to look for a homemade nutella recipe so this would work out great if i can find the nut butter for it!
