Drunken Cheesey Bread

What you need:

1 small-medium baguette
1/2 small yellow onion, thinly sliced or finely chopped
1/8 lb thinly sliced veggie ham
3/4 cup white wine
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups grated vegan Monterey jack cheese

What you do:

*I use an imported Vegetarian Ham called "Vegetarian S.W. Ham" from a local Chinese Vegetarian store and Follow Your Heart's "Vegan Gourmet" Monterey Jack cheese, which comes in a square package. (mentioned because I've introduced it to several people who hadn't known about it before!)
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Slice baguette in a long half and cut into 1-2 inch pieces. Place bread into a casserole or other baking dish then sprinkle with onions and ham. Its a good idea to place 1 piece of ham on top per each piece of bread. Pour wine evenly over entire baking dish then black pepper. Generously coat entire dish with cheese.
Bake uncovered for approximately 20 minutes until cheese appears melted and slightly browned at edges.
Spoon into individual plates and enjoy!
