SO HOW'D IT GO?

This really was easy, yummy and quick! My best friend and I made pizzas tonight and the dough came together quickly while we were making sauce and chopping up toppings. We did add a bit of sugar, and would add some more salt in the future. Because we were hunnnngry and because I have no counter space in my apartment, we did a pretty quick and dirty flattening job mid air, and they still turned out great.

Thanks for the great recipe!

YES! I've had such a craving for pizza but it always took such a long time to make the crust and now I have a quick fix! This is a fantastic recipe to have. I added herbs to the dough and it came out extremely good. It tasted like real pizza! Thanks so much for posting the recipe. This is something I'll definetley be making more often.  :)>>>

WOW!!! I used my pizza stone and doubled the recipe to make enough for 2 hungry adults.  I sprinkled rosemary after I added the margarine for extra taste, cooked the pizza w/toppings for 10 mins.  Added the sauce and vegan cheese and broiled for 5 mins. YUMMY!!!  Just try it... you won't be disappointed.  This was my first attempt at any crust or bread.

Very good!  I also added a ton of seasonings to the dough; I made it while waiting for my sister to get home, so the dough sat and rose for about an hour and a half.  So simple!  I may never order a pizza again!

This was excellent! Great with ketchup and salad. I used wholegrain spelt flour and left out the yeast, kneaded the dough in the food processor for a little bit and used the add-ins that are in the herb crust pan pizza recipe (http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=14763.0) I recommend lowering the amount of garlic powder, couldn't taste it at first but then realised it was too much - probably better off using half tsp or fresh garlic. I also found at this point the dough was too sticky so added quite a bit more flour. After that it was perfect! So then we split the dough into half for me and my dad, rolled out like normal, quite thin. My dad did the rolling because he's an expert at it lol. Put in the oven 5 mins, but then after putting on the toppings (homemade pizza sauce, onion, green olives, mushrooms and mozzarella) we found we had to leave it in for about 25 mins? and turned the oven up to 450 at 10 mins. They were perfectly cooked. Mine came out very well: crispy, tasty and pizza-y lol, but my dads was stuck to the pan! (we both used different pans). I strongly recommend greasing the pans.. though mine was fine, it was probably just fortunate. If anyone wants to do this but uses metric: the flour is 185 g and the water is 120 ml. Very good recipe! Thanks.

I tried this one the other night.  Simple and delicious, but so yeasty!  I used a packed of the quick rise variety.  Next time (of course I'll be making this one again!) I'll either try half a packet or forgo it altogether...

Fantastic!

I added a dash of sugar to make the base fluffier, but I overcooked the first one! I think this would be a good base for garlic bread, if you added more sugar/yeast: It can be very soft.

This has become an absolute STANDARD in my weekly meal planning. What's a week without at least one vegan pizza? So good, easy and reliable! Recipe stands great on its own and also serves as a great base to doctor up any way you like!

This dough was easy and quick to make.  It was extremely tasty, and I like the salty kick.  I'm curious, though, how did you picture-takers make such beautiful round pies?  Mine pizza was not exactly symmetrical.  :P

I just made this tonight and am disappointed that the middle is still undercooked even after 15 minutes.  I guess I didn't roll it out thin enough.  I'll try it again because it smells so good and I want to eat it!

The same thing happened to me when I made it yesterday.  The flavor was good but it was "doughy" in the middle.  I will try it again and roll it out thinner.

I finally made this again using olive oil instead of melted EB.  I added garlic to the crust and rolled it out thinner.  It was fantastic!  Definitely a keeper.  Thanks for the recipe and thanks to all for the suggestions.
