I Can't Believe It's Vegan Gravy!

What you need: 

1 vegetable bullion cube
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
few good dashes garlic powder
2 heaped tablespoons nutritional yeast
few good dashes soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/4-1/2 cup flour, as needed (I use brown rice flour)
1 tablespoon vegan butter
sea salt and pepper, to taste

What you do: 

1. Combine all ingredients in pot, and bring to boil.
2. Cook on medium low heat until done.
I sometimes like to add a little pinch of sage as well. This goes great over everything! My Dad (avid meat eater) says that this gravy is delicious!

SO HOW'D IT GO?

I always use this recipe during the holiday's. I do not use flour or nutritional yeast. Instead I dissolve some cornstarch with cold water, I don't have exact measurements, so you have to eyeball it. It needs to be slightly thick. Then, slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the gravey. Be VERY careful not to put too much because the gravy will gradually get thicker after a few hours.

Very good and quick.  I made it with corn starch and flour and it turned out great.  Will make again.

I get zero lumps this way and its just easier in my opinion

Just made this with the following modifications and HOLY HELL WAS IT AMAZING:

Used 1 C Veg Broth anf 1 C Almond Milk instead of water (and no bouillion cube)

Added sauteed onion and mushroom at begining

Added dried rosemary

I can't make enough of this for the holidays.  I made three batches on T-Giving.  My vegan friends kept asking "are you sure it's vegan?" as they went back for thirds!  Mmmm-Hmmm!  :)>>>
