SO HOW'D IT GO?
Braggs is a brand of liquid amino acids, also contain sodium and Vitamin B12
Texture, flavor, and color was amazing.
What I will NOT be doing next time I make these: I will not pour more marinade onto the tofu before baking. It came out WAY WAY too salty. So as soon as the tofu is marinated over night, I'll just pop it in the oven.
I'm wondering if this is anything like the Primal seitan jerky.... Comments, anyone?
what in the world is braggs?
It has a flavor very similar to tamari, shoyu or soy sauce and is ofter used inter-changeably with them.

Okay, so this was my first experimentation into tofu jerky.
The marinade was delicious. I drained the firm tofu, cut them into strips, then marinated the tofu overnight. I put it in the oven on a non-stick pizza pan. I put a spoonful of marinade onto each tofu strip before putting them in the oven. The lowest setting on my oven was 170 degrees. I left the oven cracked open so moisture would escape. I turned over the tofu evey hour for 6 hours.
