whatev gRAWnola.
2 cups assorted raw nuts, pre-soaked (I used: cashews, almonds, and candied* walnuts)
1/2 cup assorted dried fruit (I used cranberries and raisins)
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon agave nectar, optional (helps for binding)
1. In a food processor, pulse nuts down until they form a meal (not a powdery meal, but you want them to get ground to the size of little bulgur grains).
2. Stir in dried fruit, pulse more. Stir in oats and agave, and pulse more. Shape into whatever; however.
3. If you want it warm and doughy, then dehydrate for an hour. if you want it like it is, don't dehydrate; this step is optional.
* 'candied' walnuts: raw walnuts mixed with agave and cinnamon
other great fruits to consider (dried):-dates-figs-goji berries-blueberries
Source of recipe: I made this recipe because I had a lot of stuff in the fridge and cabinets to get used up before it went rancid!!
SO HOW'D IT GO?
Sounds yummy...
