The Unfinished Project Project: In Which We Finish Our Projects.

I wanted to create a thread to help us finish the projects that we start and forget about.
Each week, I'm going to pick an unfinished project to work on. It can be something in-progress or something I have wanted to start. I'm going to work on it a little bit each day and then post about it with pics.
What do you all think? I hope you'll play too! Projects can be household projects, art projects, craft projects, etc.
Tomorrow I will post about my first project. I'm still deciding what it will be.
I will join this thread! Now to sort through the pile of unfinished stuff...
Maybe I better join this challenge.
My wedding album from 18+ years ago is not done. The only thing I ever knitted became a throw blanket because I only got 1/2 of it done.
I am a faithful reader of Get Organized Now newsletter, it gives me many more projects to jump into. I need to make more cloth pads. I need to organize my files... We are currently living in a studio apt sized space with most things in storage. I have a busy schedule as a SAHWife.
Maybe I should start with simplifying my life. ::) Not taking on so many things.
Okay the most practical thing is to finish my supply of cloth pads.
Ok, my project to finish is Li'l VW!!!!
Go do it, Theo.
My project has changed from cleaning my room, to painting my new room and moving everything to it along with organizing and getting rid of lots of things i dont need.
This project is a long one.
How is everyone doing with theirs??
I abandoned this thread, oh no!
My project is almost done. I'll post pics here soon!
My current goal is to clean the laundry / kitty litter room. Then I need to bake and ship goodies to my friends.
OK, here is current hat status:

Please take note of the beautiful little stitch marker that Cali made me!
I have about.....20 more rows?
Kate, that color is SOO pretty!
Yay! Knew you'd like it.
I decided I am going to finish Noah's baby book and give it to him for Xmas. It's a little book that covers the first 3 years (he is almost 9 so it's about time!).
It was just a blank book, but I filled it with quotes, drawings, and pictures. I need to do some painting in it, and print out a ton of pics to add.
All the content is there, it just needs to be fancied up. He loves looking at it and reading the funny things, even in its unfinished state.
I started on it today!
I have a scrap quilt I started like almost 2 years ago. I want to get it done before March and give it to my daughter, there's so many other things I need/want to make too though. I'm quite the procrastinator when it comes to my crafty projects ::)
Finally finished a huge rubbermaid tote full of old papers, filed, recycled and shredded the rest. Now on the the playroom closet. I am afraid, very afraid!
Holy. shit.
I finished the baby book. The first 3 years of Noah's life....quips, quotes, drawings, photos, etc....
It took me about 16 hours in the last few days. Yikes!
I still have one more page to touch up, but I am getting tired, and sloppy, and will save it for another day.
I'm so glad it's done. I did it more for me than him, but he will be opening it on Xmas day.
I will take photos of a couple of pages and upload at some point. SOme of it is really cute!
That is great, l2a! The book sounds very special and sweet:)
I just cut a bunch of baby bibs for sewing. My quilt is still staring me in the face wondering when I'm going to pick it up though. Hopefully this weekend!
I'm still working on my original UFO (unfinished object)--the hat. Almost done! It's going so slowwwwww.
I'm working on mine tonight/tomorrow. I'm hoping to have my room totally moved and organized how I want it along with getting rid of lots of things by Monday.
Hoping.
I finished the baby bibs a few weeks ago! Nothing exciting, but whatever, they're pictured below. And the completion of the quilt is within sight! I think I may actually make my goal of having it done in March! Current project (besides quilting) is making soap. So far I made a Tomato-Tea Tree bar for cleansing the face and today I'm making an Avocado-Rose bar. I'll post pics of everything else when I'm done.

D'oh. I totally forgot to update this as I did things. My project of organization is won. I have a file cabinet to organize unfinished sewing/knitting projects. And another thing like a file cabinet that has different drawers for crafty things.
Now time to make things to start up an Etsy store. I have about 4 things done. I want to have around 15 items when I put them up.
