Super cool! ;)b
Am I missing the link?
Am I missing the link?
Yes... it's the word "link" in her post.
those are awesome! it makes me wish i were athletic enough. i had trouble riding the 5 miles to the lake. haha i was wondering. did you guys have to go to the bathroom in the woods? or were there enough places to stop on the way?

you would be athletic enough, kelsi. most of the people who did it were way out of shape. haha.
it depends. usually you would be able to find gas stations, but after a while i got sick of looking for them and just peed in the brush all the time. i never pooped on the side of the road, though. there was one girl who never ever peed on the side of the road the whole trip.
OMG! You rode with some *HOT* guys! Wink wink! Niiiiiiice >:D
It looked like you had a really awesome time--I'm so glad you were able to do this!!!!!!
Awesome! I'll have to look at these in more detail later!
the 'hannah espedal' collection.
This sounds like an exhibit at a chic, upscale art gallery. Or a clothing line.
The Hannah Espedal collection.
;D
Awesome! I'll have to look at these in more detail later!
do! and then decide to do it with me.
What an amazing journey you had! ;)b

Are you doing it again? Next summer? Because I have next summer off..............
I will seriously DO IT!
An incredible journey if ever there was one. It looks like soooo much fun. Memories for a lifetime.
How was the food situation?

Um. We've talked about it, and I informed hesp that we talked about it. Silly KMK.
bookmama- it was an absolutely amazing experience. the food situation was so-so. i was able to be vegan and didn't find it TOO difficult, but i was definitely eating a lot of pb+banana sandwiches w/ potato chips, cereal, clif bars, nut bars, etc. hehe, basically i just got energy anywhere i could! i want to do it again (w/ kmk, ac, and ans!!) and this time i hope to eat a bit better since hopefully there will be at least 4 vegans and i 'know' how to do it better, as well.
kmk, ac... we shall talk more?
Your pictures are great! Thanks for sharing them with us!
I know too many people who have been in biking accidents lately so I'm pretty scared about biking hardcore like that. I'll stick to my slow mountain bike on minimum traffic residental roads!

You may be more athletic than you think! If you rode 5 miles on a cheap Wal-mart hybrid or mountain bike (or equivalent) and had hills, that is a LOT different than riding 5 miles on a high quality road bike on flat land. BELIEVE me! I don't know if I could handle 5 miles on my old $50 Walmart bike even on flat land, but doing 40 miles on my $700 Trek road bike is a breeze (on flat land, no hills around here).
Anyway, where are those pictures taken at? That looks like west Texas.
I always complain about Texas, but honestly, I like west Texas, I just hate east Texas, and I am east.
the pictures are all over the us... but we weren't ever in west texas.
