Detroit had her first snowfall of the season last night.
When I woke up, the whole turf was covered under a couple of inches of snow. 8)
Last year I was elated and so did I get elated the year before last.
This year it is a COLD feeling. :'(
NJA
We already had ours last month.
Yay. Snow! :)>>>
NJA--you're in the D?? I'm out in A2! I'm not so impressed with the snow though...
I live in Georgia, so it rarely snows. If it flurries, people freak out and start stocking up on bread. ::)
Mine was over two weeks ago. But it just snowed last night here too. It's beautiful... but cold. And I'm not good with cold.
I wish I could go ice skating and NOT be cold.
What's snow?
<------ Floridian
Ours came in the mountains of NC on October 28. Its funny because ever since then its been getting up into the 60s and 70s. I love this unpredictable weather!
How cute is this picture??!!!!
The big kids were all out playing in the snow.
L2A, OMG, that picture is so cute! :)>>> :)>>>
We had our first snow a couple of weeks ago, there was about 4 inches here where I live. My little boy was a little too young to appreciate it though.

Woo! SQ is back!
I don't know if he really appreciated it, but the other day, Noah was running and jumping in the leaves and his eyes followed him (through the window) all over the place! I think he can actually see far distances now.
Our snow didn't stick at all, but it was fun to see!

I hate this.
GAHHHH, no snow!! I can't stand it! I'm going to freeze this winter, I just know it-- I'll be a Sonyasicle.

I loved the child's photo so much that I have saved it and will place it on desktop. :)>>>
I live in the mountains of BC Canada. During my work in the forests this year I was snowed on every month of the year! My last job before being laid off was in the second week of October cutting snow cat trails and we got caught in a blizzard on top of a nearby mountain. We made it out okay after a three hour walk although the one side of my head was freezing from the wind blowing the snow against it. But down here in the valley we haven't even had snow yet. It will soon come and then it will probably be five feet deep before winter ends.
