I lost somebody very important to me.

Two nights ago, I lost one of my best friends.
I only just found out yesterday. Her roommate called my cell phone around 6 or 7 pm to tell me that she'd passed away. I couldn't believe it; I was in shock. This couldn't be happening.
She meant everything to me. She was the person that inspired me to go vegan. She shaved my head for the first time. We even lived together for a year. She was such an incredible person, and we had so many adventures together.
She was only 21. She had her whole life ahead of her. My heart is broken and I don't know if I'll ever feel normal again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I also just found out that someone I worked with died last night. But I know that you feel it much more than I do as this was a close, dear friend of yours. Your heart is broken now and you will always have a "catch" in your heart when you think of your dear friend. Right now you need to cry and mourn her loss and talk about her with those who care for you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you struggle with this sad time in your life.

My deepest sympathies Gnarls. I have lost loved ones and it does not matter if they are near or far, family or friends, young or old, it still hurts.

I am sorry for your lost. It is hard to lose anyone, but when a young life is lost it is especially tough. Hang in there and do not be afraid to express your sadness and ask for support!

It's shocking when someone young dies and even more shocking when you're close to them and don't have any warning. I'm so sorry. Take care.

Im so sorry GB.
Its never easy to lose someone close to you, especially when they are so young. you mourn not only for the life they had, but for the possibliities of what could have been. remember to celebrate who she was, you and her other loved ones will keep her spirit alive.
