need help changing avatar

I tried changing it & got this message: The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

That happened to me the last time i tried to chnce my avatar too--turns out it was too big, have you tried to resize?
erg- yes i reduced it to 100 X 81 pixels. does it need to be smaller?
Oh Blerg...I don't know the exact demensions...I know the fist time i tried to post it I had it at the standard 100x100 and that was too big for the pic I used--I would try reziing one more time and if that doesb't work it could be another glitch--is it a jpeg, giff? I think it has to be one of those too...

:( Yeah, I reduced it down to 43X54 or something. Oh well. I'll just add the picture I wanted to my gallery- Thanks for trying to help!!!

That has to go up as one of the best pics on vegweb--although nothing will beat dinkfeet using my severd head picture as part of her avatar! :D

I tried starfruit juice from an Asian grocery once. It tasted like sweat... or at lest how I imagine sweat tastes.
